Very small but reasonable studio apartment, fully furnished, 1 year sublet

This is for 10 months minimum. Possibly longer. Perfect for academic year!

Very small fully furnished studio apartment in extremely convenient location. 2 minutes to 7 train, and under 10 min to express trains at Jackson Heights (You can be at Lex Ave/East side in about 20 minutes or less!

Many restaurants & services a few seconds away. Safe, family-style neighborhood. Spanish-speaking.

Room is small but great for 1 person who wants a reasonable price with privacy - no roommates! Kitchen & bathroom are adequate, and there's a very big closet. No laundry in building, but 5 min away.

Room comes fully furnished, and I will be leaving some large items there for the sublet - but hopefully nothing to get in your way.

You must be neat - failure to keep the apartment clean and rodent & roach free will result in loss of security deposit. I really don't care about a broken dish or a small stain on the carpet, or if you have occasional guests, but if you are a messy individual, this is really not the space for you.

Rent includes everything (internet, electricity, gas, bills etc).
1st and last month's rent
+ $750 security deposit
= $3340 to move in.

*** This sublet is N-O-T ideal for ***

NO Couples - you'll be tripping all over yourselves & will get complaints from neighbors & the super. Overnight visitors are of course not a problem.

NO Short term - please don't reply if you are looking for a spot to briefly hang out in while you look for a longer term thing, or if you don't have long-term commitments in New York. You'll wind up forfeiting your deposit if you move out early

NO Folks with lots of stuff - the apartment is already minimally furnished... and it's pretty full! So no: you can't bring your favorite fluffy sofa or antique dressing table or oriental rug or flatscreen TV. Believe me it won't fit. Clothes/books etc are not a problem.

Lastly - there is no microwave in the studio, and I'm not sure how/where you'd hook one up! And there is no AC, which should be okay for Fall move-in.
