London 3-storey modernist terraced house in very quiet residential street

Three-storey modernist terraced house in very quiet residential street.
There are 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms and a downstairs toilet. There are two studios/offices and one can be turned into a 3rd bedroom.
The living area is open plan kitchen, (kitchen is has all mod cons including a dishwasher) dinning area and lounge that back on to a pretty garden with glass sliding doors. With a beautiful wood floor with under floor heating this space is a lovely room to spend time in. The house is very light and airy and there is a communal garden a few meters away with a play area for children.

The immediate surrounding area is quiet and safe with lots of good pubs, restaurants and music venues. A 20-minute walk from the house is the lovely Hampstead Heath, London's largest ancient parkland covering 790 acre. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hampstead_Heath) with lakes (which one can swim in) and charming café’s. In the other direction 10 mins from our house are the canals and the infamous Camden Town as well as the new cultural development at Kings Cross and Euro tunnel. If you are cyclists the house is well situated for cycling to most places in London, including using the beautiful canal path which is 10 minutes from our house.

London’s vibrant centre- Soho, Piccadilly Circus and the South Bank are only 20 minutes by public transport- bus or train. Caledonian Road tube on the Piccadilly line, Kentish Town tube on the northern line and Thames Link over ground at Kentish Town are an 8-10 min walk and there are also many direct buses into the centre of London. Thames Link over ground from Kentish Town takes you straight to the entrance of Tate Modern in 17 minutes. The London overground that runs east and west can be picked up from Caledonian & Barnesbury or Kentish West station which are both a 15- minute walk from the house.

We are a family with one young son who stayed at Judy's place for 2 weeks. It was a great rental and we especially enjoyed the sitting room with the lovely garden, the cool decor and interesting artworks in the house. The kitchen is especially nice and super well equipped, and the house had everything we needed to be comfortable. The house is in a council block with a quiet street and very easy to meet and engage with the nice neighbours in the summer. Our son easily started playing with the boys on the block and there is a great community feel there that we enjoyed. Tube and buses we needed were about a 10 minute walk away. Only con was the only working bathroom was on the 3rd floor. Excellent KC 8/29/2017 10:58:00 AM
I honestly I can recommend this house where we spent 3 wonderful weeks in London. The house is cozy, comfortable and nicer than it appears in photos. The neighborhood is quiet and residential but close to everything you need. It is very well connected with the metro and by bus to central London or even the main train stations or airports. And the owners were very helpful and gave us all kinds of directions, and recommendations. Excellent jm 9/19/2013 9:01:00 AM
