My husband and I had a wonderful experience living at this sabbatical home. The location is unbelievable; it is on a lovely, quiet cobblestone street adjacent to a beautiful church. We took many pictures on our street and in our neighborhood over the months we lived there because we never got used to how pretty and unique it was.

We also loved how close all the shops, farmer’s markets, bars, restaurants, and transportation options were. For example, just around the corner is an adorable, delicious fondue restaurant (Restaurant in 't Goede Uur). And, down the street is an Albert Hein, two bakeries, a great coffee shop, etc... My husband worked in Amsterdam and he had no problems using public transportation to get to work.

The owners, Maarten and Reina, are kind, thoughtful and ideal to communicate with. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and pleasant. The day we moved in, Maarten volunteered to pick us up in Amsterdam to drive us to the apartment. This gesture was really sweet and typified all of our interactions with the owners. I highly recommend this place!
