The monumental house is on the 17th century canal belt in Amsterdam close to Central Station. The furnished apartment on the two upper floors of the back-house measures 55m2 and has a small (shared) roof terrace. It will be for rent from 1st of february 2021.
((The lower floors, in which we live ourselves, have a monumental quality and access to a romantic garden. For these floors we welcome suggestions for home exchange in 2021/2022- if the Covid-19 threat has disappeared.. We are especially interested in the Alps and in (South-West) Bourgogne but also love to be surprised.))

I am a retired sociologist, I worked at UvA and HvA. I live with my partner, an artist, in a monumental house in the 17th century (world heritage) canal belt. Since some 15 years we let the 2 upper floors to academics and others.
