Beautiful, recently renovated, spacious apartment in downtown Barcelona.

Our home is in l'Eixample, the nineteenth century grid-plan neighborhood in downtown Barcelona. It is a 3 bed-room, 3 bathroom apartment with a large living-room and an open-space kind of kitchen. We completely renovated it just 3 months ago.

It is very quiet and it has plenty of light because the living-room and two of the bedrooms open to an exclusive 200 sq-m patio.

You can walk to the very center of the old city in just 10 minutes. Even less to both El Ninot and Sant Antoni markets, the nineteenth century, fresh-produce markets typical of Barcelona. Even closer than that, you have Sants Station, the train station that can take you to beach-towns near Barcelona, to Madrid on high-speed train (under 3h), or even to Paris. Of course, you also have subways and buses around.

But if you choose to stay in the neighborhood, you have plenty of restaurants, bookstores, cafes, and playgrunds (if you have kids); you even have the best hospital in Spain –El Clínic—.

All in all, it is a rare oportunity: a great apartment, perfect for writing or just enjoying the city, as confortable for solitary geniuses as it is for families (we have 2 daughters!), and pet friendly, in the center of a vibrant, culturally aware, and a bit decadent city.

About Me
I am a political philosopher from Barcelona. I got my PhD at The New School for Social Research, in New York. I taught at NYU and Princeton, and now I am back in my city. This Spring I am going to be teaching at Stanford U., and I am looking, as a first option, for a home-exchange with someone near the university; but I am also open to renting my house (I am the owner) in downtown Barcelona. It is a beautiful apartment, renovated just 3 months ago, 10 minutes walk from the core of the core of the city, and with a 200 square meter patio. Very silent, confortable, and spacious. A rare oasis in the middle of a great Europan city.
