About Me
I currently teach at Monash University and have previously taught at RMIT Melbourne. Most of my career has been as a film director, screenwriter and occasional producer. I completed a Phd in 2018 investigating the mismatch between current USA screen narrative paradigms and Australian cultural history. My most recent film is a feature documentary about an aboriginal homeland in North East Arnhem Land. My partner, David Rapsey, (Canadian by birth) is also both an academic and a film maker. We have one son who is currently doing his Phd at the Australian National University.
