Historic Large & Bright Printers Row Loft!

Live in a beautiful 1800 square foot light filled historic Printers Row loft previously featured on HGTV. These lofts rarely come up for rent or sale. Extra large loft, one of the largest in building, was created by combining two units.

Two full bathrooms. Den that you could make a second bedroom. Walk in master closet. 11th floor with unobstructed city views. Absolutely exceptional morning light. East facing. Exposed brick concrete beams. A true loft. New appliances. In unit washer and dryer. The Franklin Building is a National Historic Landmark and was the second loft conversion building in all of Chicago.

Walk score of 99, very easy access to Red Line, Blue Line, Orange Line, Metra trains, Grant Park, Art Institute, and access to everything downtown. Right next to Dearborn park and the Dearborn Park neighborhood for nice serene walks and dog walks. Awesome wine shop right across the street and Sandymeyers Bookstore right downstairs. Great Italian, Japanese, American, Pizza, and restaurants all around. Grant Park is two blocks away.

With the windows shut the loft the loft is almost completely silent - a perfect retreat away from the busy city.

Available furnished or unfurnished. Pet friendly - one dog or cat! All utilities included.

1 garage parking spot in a garage across the street.

About Me
I am a sociocultural anthropologist interested in transnational processes, critical development studies, and gender, sexuality, and youth. My work is based in Africa, specifically in urban Uganda, and in the bureaucratic arenas of the international development industry. My current project tracks a global campaign to empower adolescent girls as it unfolds through the transnational channels of a major NGO and into the lives of teenagers living in Kampala, Uganda's capital city.
