Glen Iris is a leafy suburb. There’s a great little general shop that sells all sorts of things and has an attached café with great coffee – it’s 1 minute’s walk away. There are quite a few shops within a 15 min walk, including a continental delicatessen/mini mart and wine store. There are excellent shopping centres (Ashburton, Camberwell) within 5-10 min by car or 15 min on the bus that goes from the end of the street – all have great restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, and everything else you may need.
