4 bedroom house + pool, near forest, 15 minutes to downtown Sydney

4 bedroom family home with pool and garden (maintenance of both included). The house has central heating and air conditioning and loads of light with views to the nearby National Park. Ideal for a family. Optional family car available.

Master bedroom has king size bed.
Family bathroom includes large bathtub and separate shower.

The second bedroom is currently used as a guest room and includes a single bed with second trundle bed underneath that converts to queen. This room also has two desks.

The third bedroom is currently a child's bedroom and includes a top bunk bed. The fourth bedroom includes a single bed with second mattress below that can be pulled out.

The large kitchen opens to a dining room and living area that opens out via glass doors to an covered outdoor eating area in front of the large salt-water pool. The pool is fully enclosed by a glass fence for safety.

The living room includes a projector which connects to a DVD player or laptop computer for watching TV or movies digitally. It also includes a sofabed if required for visitors.

The kitchen includes all mod cons including an induction stove and separate laundry room with washer and dryer.

The front room includes sunroom, piano and spacious office area with two-person desk, laser printer, and a exercise bicycle.

The garden also includes a trampoline and cubby house.

You are welcome to enjoy the organic fruit from our potted fruit trees (mandarin, lemon, lime, bush lime, pomagranate) and herb garden, but the parrots usually get to the mandarins first! We get visits from many beautiful birds including rainbow lorikeets, white cockatoos, brush turkeys and laughing kookaburras.

Access to family bicycles and/or a camper trailer with camping equipment can also be arranged. We have an inflatable kayak that seats two and can be launched from the nearby pontoon on the Lane Cove River.

We both currently work at the University of Sydney (also near UTS), but the house is also convenient to Macquarie University and Australian Catholic University. We travel to UNSW by car regularly as well.

Within 50 meters is a bus stop, a local library and an excellent cafe. The house is just two blocks from the lovely Mowbray Public School, ideal for any families with primary age children. Chatswood Primary and St Pius are nearby alternatives. The house is also two blocks from a park, sports oval, golf course, and National Park. We are also walking distance to the highly-regarded Chatswood High School.

Nearby Lane Cove Village is extremely family-friendly with restaurants, cafes, shopping and two large supermarkets. Anything that can't be found in Lane Cove can be found in nearby Chatswood, which has two modern shopping centres, theatres, and hundreds of restaurants.

The house is a 20 minute bus ride to the centre of downtown Sydney including Circular Quay, the harbour, the Opera House, and all the restaurants, bars and live entertainment available.

We are happy to arrange use of our 7-seater Nissan Dualis car. Great for exploring Sydney and beyond.
