This 1930s home, recently renovated, is situated in a walkable central neighbourhood - 10 mins by foot to Carleton University and 25 mins walk along the canal to uOttawa. The neighbourhood has many amenities - 2 mins walk to the local Old Ottawa South village, 5 mins walk to Lansdowne Park and 10 mins by foot to the Glebe village. We are 5 mins by foot to the Rideau Canal (UNESCO world heritage site), and are surrounded by many parks, rivers, and outdoor activity facilities, including bike trails, SUP, outdoor skating and nordic ski trails, almost outside your front door. Of course, our house is in our nation's capital city, so lots to do and see!

Full professor at University of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Ottawa is an active living city for all seasons, family friendly, home to an abundance of federal sites and museums. Dr. Young lives in very close proximity to the Rideau Canal, a UNESCO heritage site, in an extremely walkable neighbourhood. Going on sabbatical July 2021.
