About Me
My husband, Xavier, now retired, and I live in Paris where we can enjoy its rich cultural life and be near our children and grandchildren. We lived in Raleigh, North Carolina, from 1985 to 1987, where my husband was working at I.B.M. I was a primary school teacher for 5 years in France, and then was a story-teller for 25 years in schools and libraries; there I also worked with artists and cultural organizations for festivals. Fifteen years ago we created a database which is essentially a virtual library of texts for story-tellers. I am now in charge of developing and enriching this library. www.bibliorecit.com

This is the most elegant, spacious, quiet and well-situated apartment we have ever seen, much less rented, in decades of visits to Paris. Mme. Perras is helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Concierge and neighbors are also helpful and friendly. Living/dining room and bedroom are airy (cross-ventilated) and light. Kitchen and bath are ultramodern. Luxembourg Garden is one block away. Five stars! Excellent Ann Smock 4/4/2018 4:17:00 PM
What a delight! Therese's apartment was large, bright, airy and welcoming upon arrival; beautifully furnished, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything you need to begin "living in Paris."

I couldn't have been happier with the apartment and, of course, the location is perfect - just step outside your door and everything is at your fingertips - from groceries, to one of the best boulangerie's in Paris, Eric Kayser, to all that the Latin Quarter and Paris has to offer.

Detailed information was left at the house and Therese was quick to respond to any question I had during my five week stay. This apartment is simply a gem! I would not hesitate to rent this beautiful home in the future.

Merci beaucoup, Therese!

This is one of the most beautiful apartments that I have ever stayed in in Paris. Elegantly furnished, spacious and quiet, and in a superb location adjacent to the Luxembourg Gardens. Therese, the owner, was wonderful and helpful throughout the duration of my stay. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a splendid and tranquil oasis in the heart of Paris.
