Studio by University of Pennsylvania and Central Philadelphia

The Baring Street Studio is located minutes walk from UPenn and the Philadelphia Art Museum. The apartment is private and peaceful. It is located in a faculty-owned brick house with high ceilings and big windows that was built in 1883 during one of Philadelphia's grandest moments in history. The efficiency is designed with visiting researchers, post-docs, grads, staff and medical residents in mind: a peaceful home in a great location.
This delightful 1.5 room 2nd floor efficiency has many lovely historic features and also new amenities including a private entry, laundry, a large walk-in shower and wifi. It is available furnished or unfurnished. The studio has parquet floors, a decorative fireplace, and large bay windows with original wood shutters, ceiling fan. The kitchen is recently modernized and includes fridge, sink, cooktop and there is a laundry machine and dryer in the unit.
The studio is just minutes walk to UPenn, Monell Institute, The Science Center, UPenn Hospitals and Drexel University. It is also just minutes walk to subway stations, Amtrak's 30th Street Station and many other great locations like the art museum, Schuylkill Banks riverside park with jogging and bike trails, Fairmont Park, and Center City.
