Brooklyn 1 Bedroom -- Sunny and Spacious -- Prospect Heights

I’m looking to rent my 1 bedroom, floor-through apartment while I’m away this summer. It is large (900 sq. feet) but quaint, which you’ll understand in the pictures. I’m close to the Brooklyn Museum, Botanic Gardens (I’ll leave you my pass) and Prospect Park, which has a fantastic farmers market every Saturday. The immediate neighborhood is quintessential Brooklyn-Brownstone — tree-lined blocks with artisanal beer and ice-cream shoppes less than 500 feet from the front door. I have loved living here for over 5 years; it’s quiet with lots of light and the sound of birds may make you feel like you’re in the country somewhere. Step down the stoop, however, and you’re 5 minutes from great restaurants, bars, shops…not to mention a new Soul Cycle, if you’re into that kind of thing.

DETAILS:
- 900 square ft floor through 3 floor walk up apartment
- a kitchen with gas stove and every thing you need to cook, chop, blend and bake. Also, there is a Vitamix. (NO dishwasher…sorry.)
- a LARGE, separate bedroom
- LARGE living space neatly separated into working area, dining area and entertainment, lounge center
- a LARGE (not that size is everything) bathroom with a claw-foot tub
- cute outdoor space (the pic bellow was in the winter so it looks a bit drab) accessible through the bedroom window and perfect for morning cups of coffee with the paper.
- a TV with ROKU
- high-speed internet
- AC unit in the bedroom AND the living room.

Apartment is close to all sorts of transportation that will take you anywhere from Manhattan to Queens or Long Island and beyond!!

9 minute walk to the C at Clinton Washington
11 minute wak to the Clinton G

About Me
I moved here from Boulder Colorado with my road bike, a guitar, a bag full of yoga clothes and my bowling ball. 15 years later I still own everything but the bowling ball. I work as a writer/editor and Pilates instructor but applied for decided to go back to school for a masters in Social Work the day after #45 was elected. With the novelty of a summer break to indulge years of latent wanderlust--I'm headed off! My apartment is spacious but quirky, filled with books and pictures and music I've accumulted through the years. I love to travel so you'll find little pieces of Haiti, Rwanda, Ecuador, and New Mexico, where I grew up and hope to grow old.
