Our stay at Laura's place was very enjoyable and we would definitely like to come again if we need future accommodation in the area. The home was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. We really appreciated Laura’s attention to detail and thoughtfulness; the kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything we needed during our stay. Location is really convenient, close to the beach and downtown. We really appreciated the detail in the welcome package and recommendations. The garden is very beautiful we sent pictures to family. Overall the stay has been great! The process for check in and checkout were straightforward and we appreciated the prompt and helpful email communications. Excellent Salah 7/12/2019 2:15:00 PM
Me and my family really enjoyed our stay in this downtown Santa Barbara cottage. A very charming and well equipped house. Walking distance to bus stop with express bus to UCSB. A very nice neighbourhood with grocery store nearby, also very close to State street with a lot of restaurants and shops. Lovely landlord, easy to communicate with. Could not have wished for a better first place to start our three years at UCSB. Excellent Julia Westman 8/23/2018 8:36:00 PM
I had a great experience renting this home in for 2.5 months in fall 2016. As others have said, it has lots of character and is very well maintained. I found it very convenient for cycling to UCSB (bike friendly roads and bike path along the entire route) and for access to State Street. The owner responded immediately to any questions I had. The neighborhood was quiet and interesting, and the grocery store one block away was convenient. I would definitely rent it again. Excellent Neutrino 11/24/2016 12:28:00 PM
My family and I spent very pleasant 5 weeks in this property. Location is very convenient with a reasonable grocery store right across the street and the main SB bus station in downtown SB around 15min walking (from where a rapid bus to UCSB departs quite often). All we could need was there. In particular, the landlady was very kind to promptly satisfy all our needs for equipment for our 1.5yr old child. The only logistics misunderstanding upon arrival was quickly solved by the landlady and the (very helpful and friendly) neighbor. I definitely recommend it to anybody visiting SB.

Lovely rental in suitable location for easy access to downtown & UCSB. Landlords who take the time to really listen & respond promptly to tenants and very friendly neighbors really make the property. An interesting cottage with modern bathroom, kitchen and laundry facilities as well as a neat little yard and plenty of character throughout - definitely recommend.
