A cozy apartment in the most authentic area of Venice

The location is perfect if you wish to enjoy the magic of Venice. The apartment is in the middle of the very hearth of the city: by walk, you may reach in 10 minutes either Rialto bridge, and Ca'Foscari, and the railway station. The location is convenient and strategic, and hidden from the main tourist stream. The kitchen and the living room overlook a nice, tiny canal, so water views are guaranteed.

The place is very quiet and calm, close to one of the most joyful venetian living places: Campo San Giacomo dell'Orio. Over there, you can find supermarkets, bakeries, greengrocers, pharmacy, and good restaurants as well.

The apartment is at the second floor. It is very spacious, bright and fully renovated. It is well furnished, and fully equipped. There is a large living room with two sofas and a large table, a dining room, two spacious bedrooms (one bedroom with twin beds, and a master bedroom with a comfortable king-size bed), two bathrooms (with shower/bathtub), and a closet. It can accommodate up to 6 people in full comfort. Linen and towels are provided. A 3 hours weakly house-keeping service is included in the rent fee.

WI-FI is available (1 Gigabit in FTTH with no further charge), as well as TV, washing machine, dishwasher, hairdryer, combo-microwave oven, rice-steamer. The heating system is independent.

You can easily reach the apartment from the airport by taking the AliLaguna water taxi: from the San Stae stop it's just a three minutes walk, with no bridge to cross.

It has been nice having as guests eminent visiting professors from many different countries: USA, Japan, UK, South Korea, India, China, France, Ireland, etc. In our "Book of Guests" you'll find interesting notes about their experience, including hints about restaurants and places to visit.

Excellent apartment, and great host. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It was ideally located for the archives and for pretty much everything else. Excellent Toby Osborne 8/8/2019 12:49:00 AM
Three main attractions of this apartment: 1. The location...it really is in the heart of Venice, with canal views on 2 sides, walking distance to the Rialto, San Marco, many other attractions and the train/bus station as well as a vaporetto stop just 4 min from the front door. The local Campo is the best in Venice with shops, restaurants, shady trees and entertainments such as Tuesday milongas. 2. The apartment itself is elegant, clean, light and spacious with windows on 3 sides. It really feels like an authentic experience in Venice living. 3. Tino, the owner, responded quickly to our questions and offered great advice. Very nice to communicate with. We recommend this apartment - we really enjoyed it for our 6 week stay. Tino's apartment was clean and comfortable. The location was ideal....right in the center of Venice. Tino and the housekeeper were very organized and approachable. I would definitely rent that apartment again. Erica Excellent Erica Rasmussen 7/20/2018 5:56:00 AM
I have stayed in Venice several times. But this time was special, as I was arriving on my own with two dogs, no time for planning my trip ahead and tons of expectations. Well, Tino was really kind to make all this doable. Understanding that there were no bridges and only 5 minutes between the apartment and the vaporetto stop coming straight from the airport, made all the difference. On top, I arrived to an easy apartment, comfortable for visitors too as it has two bathrooms, in such a great neighborhood as it is around San Giacomo dell’Orio. A pleasure. The apartment is quiet, but if you open the windows enough, you also get connected with the city in a nice way. Gondolas passing, Festa de San Bonifacio, Tango Classes in El Campo. All family oriented, really venetian, safe and easy. Restaurants and food shops are right there too. The Rialto Public Market is just 10 mins, museums, beautiful jewelry and clothes shops… I ended up staying three months and by the time I decided to rent again, the apartment was already taken by former visitors! Stayed in Tino's wonderful apartment for six weeks last winter. I know Venice very well and it was great to immerse myself in this very un-touristy part of the city. The actual accommodation is terrific with plenty of space and the apartment has that lovely feel of a real home. Close to neighbourhood restaurants and cafes and a two-minute walk from a vaporetto stop on the Grand Canal. Perfect apartment for a stay in Venice. Excellent Roslyn Sandford 7/13/2018 5:23:00 AM
