The Treehouse - Airy Rooftop Views of Capitol Hill

Enjoy a furnished top floor one-bedroom apartment with a skylight, wood-burning fireplace, and rooftop views in three directions.

Comfortable furnishings include a queen-size memory-foam mattress, Italian leather sectional, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, washer-dryer, dishwasher, and high speed wifi and cable. Central location on Capitol Hill. Spectacular sunsets over charming historic neighborhood.

Five blocks to Red Line at Union Station and an easy walk to the Blue and Orange Lines at Eastern Market or Capitol South. Within a few blocks, you'll find 2 yoga studios, 3 coffee houses, 2 gourmet markets, the Northeast public library, many restaurants, and the nightlife on H Street. Easy walk to the the House and Senate, the Folger Library, and the Supreme Court.

This is a great home base for research and writing in D.C. Walk to the Library of Congress, bike to your university or think-tank, or take the metro from Union Station. With sunlight morning to night, the Treehouse is also a great place to work from home. The apartment has a nifty wall office with plenty of shelves, and desk space.

I stayed here for 9 months, and it was a great place to stay. It is a very bright and airy apartment in a quiet, secure building whose common areas have recently been updated too. It is near grocery stores and public transit options, so the location is very convenient. Kate responded to my calls/texts/e-mails very quickly. Excellent James 4/17/2018 10:58:00 AM
