Lovely and quiet three-floor townhouse built in 1919 with furnished modern Basement apartment. Rent September to June 2021. Well maintained Quasi a cul de sac with little traffic. Walking Five minutes from Georgetown University and 15 minutes to George Washington University and American University. 15 minute walk to French Embassy. 25 minutes to the Smithsonian mall. Temporary parking available through DC ROSA program.

The newly furnished apartment is bright, with all modern appliances, washer/dryer, full kitchen with utensils and pots and pans, bookcases, cupboards, and closets. All Utilities included in the rental fee: Air-conditioning, cable TV Internet, wireless, water, and electric. Suitable for one person.

Your private entrance to your apartment is through the landscaped garden. The home is very secure with a garden gate lock, your apartment has two locked doors. You first enter the kitchen with a large, white table and sitting area with a couch. Full kitchen, modern refrigerator, microwave oven, and oven. A small hallway with a swinging-door closet leads you to your large bedroom and bathroom with shower. As the apartment is fully furnished, you simply bring your books and your clothes and towels.

The neighborhood is called Northern Georgetown or Burleith. We have wonderful Bird migrations and hiking in Rock Creek Park. Dumbarton Oaks gardens are minutes away. You will find that our neighborhood is a quiet haven from the noise of Georgetown proper. Comfortable and modern/elegant furniture. Maid service provided at $50 a month extra fee. No pets or children.


CENTRAL TO BUS SYSTEM and 10 minutes from the metro. 5 minutes from Georgetown Univ. and 15 minutes by bus to The George Washington University and to American University and 35 minutes to NIH. Shopping a block away, restaurants also nearby. The local library and famous Georgetown sites close by. Metro five minutes away.

Angela's apt. is very clean and nicely decorated, and is located in a charming and safe area. The kitchen is fully equipped as well and everything works perfectly. There are buses and circulators just a few minutes away on foot. Two large grocery stores, as well as all the wonderful shops that Georgetown has to offer, are also just a few minutes away. We rented the house of Angela for ten days. It was a very nice experience. Angela is a lady of culture and it is visible all around the house. She was very helpful to welcome us and to offer good tips. The house is a good base camp to enjoy DC on the historical side, and the garden offers a nice get-away. I had a wonderful stay in Angelina's beautiful early twentieth century house (1919) in Georgetown just a stroll away from R street and Dumbarton gardens and the beautiful cemetery (so beautiful people get married in it). Less than 5 minutes to Georgetown's great shops, cafes and restaurants. But you can cook at home as well in Angelina's well equipped kitchen. The house is lovely..at the back of the dining room and kitchen is a breakfast bar area which is all window and looks out onto a lovely garden and patio...perfect for breakfast in the sun. The house is graceful, light-filled and there are lots of beautiful paintings on the walls, many of them Angelina's. Shower is excellent. Best of all is Angelina ..a wonderful person. This is a beautiful, lovingly maintained townhouse in the Georgetown University area and conveniently situated within a four to five minute walk to a major grocery store, excellent restaurants and local public buses. Despite being in a University area, my family of three had no issues with noise or any other typical college-life issues. Angela is a wonderfully gracious landlady and will be sure to be receptive to your specific needs.
