Cozy Serene Room and Shared Flat in a Great East side Neighborhood

My place is in Madison's favorite neighborhood. It is 3 blocks from beautiful Lake Monona with great cafes, grocery stores, art, culture, libraries, public transportation, and family-friendly activities. It is near almost everything you would want.

This private room has a double bed, a roomy closet and dresser, as well as a large desk and comfortable chair. You’ll love the Cozy Serene room and flat because of the location and view, comfort, quiet, beautiful gardens, and best of all friendly & kind people.

The Cozy Serene room rate of $680/month is for 1 person. For the 2nd person it is an additional $120/month.

There is a second private room in the flat that is a bit larger. It has a comfortable firm queen-size bed, with a large closet and a good amount of storage. If you wish to rent this room instead or in addition, look up my “Comfy Rose Room and Flat with a View” #119250. If you wish to rent the entire 2-bedroom apartment the rate will be discounted.

About Me
My name is Annie and I really enjoy meeting and getting to know new people. Everyone is interesting to me and each of us have our own stories to tell. I love that Sabbatical Homes allows me to provide a caring, respectful and comfortable environment for others I wouldn't normally meet. I like creating and sharing a home that is beautiful, peaceful, clean, calm, well-organized, warm and welcoming. I have a lovely cat named Mucho Gusto. I like to grow flowers and organic veggies in the gardens that surround my house. I attended University of WI in Madison and studied Earth sciences and Spanish. As a self-employed person for the last 40 years, I have focused on democratic management, conflict transformation and mediation, natural foods, nutrition and holistic hands-on healing. Currently my main work is shiatsu therapy, which is hands-on oriental medicine. I lived in Japan for 5 years in the 1990, studied with a Buddhist priest shiatsu master, and received permission to practice and teach Tao Shiatsu. What is Shiatsu? You could think of it as acupuncture without the needles that affects the whole person's health and life. I also am an continuing education instructor with the University of Wisconsin offering workshops on "The Art of Conflict Transformation". I'm grateful for this work/life path that continually brings me many wonderful experiences, meaningful relationships, and personal and professional development.
