BRIDGE THE GAP-Comfortable Craftsman House.Near LkWa.

BRIDGE THE GAP-- is the perfect place for 2 separate singles or a family of 4 using the whole house. It is a great house for those in transition… on sabbatical, remodeling their house; moving to Seattle for a new job and not sure where to live.

Each bedroom and bathroom is on a separate floor. Bed Linen and Bathroom Towels etc are provided. Kitchen is fully stocked including all diner ware. A gardener/property manager will handle yard work, but resident must put out garbage/recycle on Thursdays. Driveway can handle 2 cars. However garage is not available to renters. I prefer no pets, but I'd be OK with a small (under 25 lbs) dog with clipped and beveled nails… No Cats (allergy). ($50 non-refundable fee for dog)

Wake up in the morning with an unobstructed view of Lake Washington as well as the Cascades. If you like exercise…you are only 4 blocks from Lake Washington & near both Seward Park and the Mt. Baker Rowing Center. Exercise before or after work or...sit on the wrap-around porch and just relax. You are only 2.5 blocks away from a bus line, local stores and restaurants and over the hill from Columbia City which also has many new restaurants and things to do. This is a family friendly neighborhood approximately 3 miles to downtown & 2 miles to the I-90 Bridge...which leads to the East Side and the Cascade Mountains. Skiing/Hiking is only 45 min. away.

Rent INCLUDES partial Utility payment. 1/3 of utility payments paid by Mother-In-Law apartment. The balance is the responsibility of those renting the "main house". Utilities are:Internet/Wifi, TV (Comcast), Lights, Heat, Water, Sewer, Garbage. If Resident charges a movie, resident will be billed separately. One ROKU is also provided.

Lease can be extended with one month notice. Half month is $1,450. Additional days over a month but less than half month will be pro-rated based on Annual total divided by 365 days.

Deposit is fully refundable except for a $140 Cleaning Fee (plus $50/dog if applicable) and a temporary hold for Combo Utilities if we are between billing cycles--which is every other month.

About Me
I have my MA in Museology from the Univ. of Wa. I was recently the Project Manager for the WSSSM (Wa State Ski & Snowboard Museum). I am presently the secretary/BOD and volunteer regularly. I worked for Wizards of the Coast (owned now by Hasbro) for 17 years in multiple capacities including coordinating with all European offices and being the Project Manager for the competitive-collectable card game--Magic:The Gathering. I am now retired and am studying French and learning to Tap Dance and Rock Climb. Both my children and my one grandson live in Seattle and we interact often. I grew up in NYC and spent a great deal of my post high school life on the north shore of Boston. I moved to Seattle in 1968 and love living here.

We lived in this beautiful home for 6 months while our house was being renovated. We cannot give enough praise for the property owner/manager, Leeds. She prepared an impeccably clean home for us to move into with all the amenities. Throughout our time there she was 100% responsive -- always prompt and helpful and so supportive of our needs. She is completely professional and very clear about billing and very respectful of our privacy. The house itself was perfect for us -- two adults and a 14-year old (who got to occupy the upstairs room with the best view in the city!). It is peaceful, beautiful, and the views of Lk Washington, the mountains, and the bridges calmed us through what can be such a stressful renovation process. The beds were clean and comfortable; Leeds provides clean towels, sheets, furnishings, kitchen supplies, everything! She also genuinely cared about our well-being as a family -- and has become a wonderful friend to us. While we are happy with our renovation, we will always think of our time in this home as such an unexpected vacation! Excellent Mark Patterson 8/13/2019 9:17:00 AM
