Gorgeous Furnished 3 Bed, 1 Bath Apartment in Heart of Capitol Hill, Seattle

Our beautifully decorated and fully furnished apartment is available for rent April 1, 2020 through 12/31/2022 with a 6-month minimum. Ideal timing is thru 12/31/2020 or longer. Our subletter(s) will need to sign on to the lease with our property management company.

The building is nearly 100 years old; this is a third floor walk-up, one of only 4 units. Only 1 bedroom (the smallest one) has a shared wall – we never hear the neighbors!. Original hardwood floors, transom windows, original moldings – feels like an old East Coast home, not a new cookie-cutter apartment. No smoking or vaping inside apartment or within 25 feet (it’s the law). Laundry and air conditioning in unit!

• Master bedroom has Queen bed, bedside tables, large dresser and closet. Lush draperies hide the dresser and doorway for a romantic feel.
• Second bedroom has a full/double bed, bookshelf, dresser, and closet.
• Third bedroom can accommodate a queen (very tight fit), full or twin bed* and a dresser* (no closet).
• Full kitchen with linoleum floors, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher; stocked with dishes, flatware, utensils, cooking gear. Laundry closet in kitchen (with washer and dryer).
• Dinette with table and booth off the kitchen seats 4
• Formal dining room has table and chairs for 8 plus a bar cabinet, long console table and china buffet/hutch
• Living room is spacious, with a bay window, 2 sofas, armchair and ottoman, 2 bookshelves, 3 tables, a large TV and media cabinet. Pocket doors can be closed between LR and DR.
• Balcony off 3rd bedroom has cafe table and 2 chairs; overlooks beautiful trees across Pike Street
• 1 Bathroom, with shower

*We are happy to provide a bed and dresser in bedroom 3 for long term tenants (if you need them).

This luxury apartment is over 1200 square feet and is perfectly located in the Pike-Pine corridor, just past the noise and bustle, but close walking distance to so much!
• 2 blocks to Central Co-Op
• 3 blocks to Trader Joe’s
• 2 blocks to Amazon Lockers
• 3 blocks to Cal Anderson Park
• 3 blocks to Seattle University
• 4 blocks to Seattle Central College
• 1 block to the #12 bus to downtown Seattle, the SLU trolley (to Amazon-land) and the Metro hub with buses to points throughout Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond and pretty much whole metro region
• 4 blocks to the streetcar to Pioneer Square and the stadiums
• 7 blocks to Light Rail to SeaTac Airport and University of Washington
• Probably 50 restaurants and a dozen gyms/yoga studios in a 5-block radius...check Yelp and center yourself on 14th Ave at Pike Street to see what else is nearby!

The property manager is located in the ground floor of the building, perfect for lock-out help and receiving packages.

We are moving to NYC, but our jobs and families will bring us back to Seattle frequently. if we only end up renting out 1 or 2 bedrooms, we will possibly come back to Seattle a weeks every month or two to stay in the 3rd bedroom, but the rest of the time the place will be all yours.

B: Rent the master bedroom and your choice of the second or third bedroom for $2550/month. We will stay in the empty bedroom approximately one week every month or two.
C: Rent just the master bedroom for $1900 a month. We or our designated guests will make use of the second and third bedroom at our discretion.

About Me
We are a professional couple - I’m a jewelry industry e-commerce business consultant and my husband is a technical program manager at an Amazon subsidiary. We are moving from the Pacific Northwest to Brooklyn, NYC to be closer to my family and also for my husband’s new job in Manhattan. We are hoping to sublet our apartment for 2 years or so, in hopes of coming back to it when/if our time in NYC ends, because we absolutely love both the location and the apartment itself. I enjoy sewing, crafting, cooking, art, and travel; he enjoys philosophy, science fiction, and plays cello.
