I have rented this flat twice now. The rooms are bright and spacious and well-situated for transport, shopping and other amenities. The big kitchen is a plus, as is the extra en-suite bathroom upstairs. Everything works well, including the heating and internet/wifi.
The house is on a quiet residential street near a couple of parks, but it is just round the corner from several supermarkets, a pharmacy, and other shops, open late; a Thameslink overground train station that serves inner London and well beyond (about 15 minutes to St Pancras for example); and bus stops serving most of London.
The nearest underground station is Brixton, about 15-20 minutes walk, with numerous shops, bars and restaurants on the way, including an organic grocery store and the famous Brixton Village Market. A few minutes away in the opposite direction, there is a great café called The Junction where jazz musicians give free concerts.
I highly recommend the flat, and Magdi, the landlord
