RVS East Wing Suite sleeps 4

Apartment suite overlooking magic secluded gardens, with pool. 9 km. from Rome historic center. Excellent public transport. Car unnecessary. RVS is pilot Storygardenz of Europe, funded by EU (Seeing Stories), with art, legend, history, archaeology.

The double bedroom is the best bedroom on the property with great Windows overlooking the park. You have to cross this bedroom to get to the twin bedroom so this is best suited for family groups. The terrace overlooks most of the garden, lit up at night. The dining living area and kitchenette are under the covered veranda so this section is at its best between April and end October.

To all shared areas of garden, pool, BBQ, picnic area and veranda. East Wing Suite terrace is exclusive.

We are often on the premises and love talking with guests offering information and sharing stories.

We are closer to the center of Rome than many city quarters, (8 km.) yet we are in the country. This is because there are practically no suburbs on the north side, which is also full of historic, artistic and gastronomic interest (including our own property !)

Excellent public transport (bus + metro) from outside our garden gate. Car not needed here - more than 50% of our guests do not use a car. We also have our own minibus as back up and limo/bus service for guests at competitive rates (airport pick up and guided tours, local runs eg. metro station 3 km. * supermarkets 1 km. – both are served by bus). We can organize your pick up at airports etc.

We have a great food and wine tradition here and serve meals and half board with special conditions for children (although all houses are self-catering. There may be cultural events like music at the Music Academy in our Church and you will be invited to attend, although they will not interfere with your privacy. This is a great natural playground for children

About Me
Bernard Anson Silj, (a.k.a. DADO), born in Rome (Italy) 1948, of British father and Italian mother, educated at Harrow and Trinity College. His formative years between Britain and Italy and subsequent time as a young man, studying in India and Tibet with great masters, fuels his tension between the orders and expressions of the north-west and the south-east of the world. 2007 founds the European Storygardenz project, promoted by the Italian Ministry of Culture. In the same year begins experimenting with mythical and legendary cartography. Storyteller, lecturer and speaker, author of several works including “Carmen Via, A journey in the songlines of Italy” (Semar Press, the Hague). In 2010 interprets himself in US David Rich fim “Going DADO”. His latest narrative work “The Garden of Lemniscati”, and “Italian Stories in Place” soon to be published, have been written specifically also as a manifesto and on the visitation of geo-located stories and site specific art, the thin e dividing line between fact and fiction, reality and imagination and on the functions of myth, folk tale and legend and their neurological implications.
