We are sad to lose our current tenants of nearly 18 months who have moved back to the States, but this now means our recently renovated and redecorated Cottage is available again. It has been fitted with new kitchen and carpets throughout - this fully furnished two bedroom, two bathroom period cottage sits within the grounds of a Georgian farmhouse in the conservation area of Old Kidlington. 2 bedrooms, one of which can be furnished as an office/study. Fast regular bus service from the doorstep to Oxford Parkway (10 minutes), Summertown (15 minutes) and Central Oxford (25 minutes). Oxford Parkway 50 minutes to London Marylebone direct. A40/M40 within 5 minutes. Price includes all utilities and council tax. Broadband is in place and can be connected for longer rental periods. We stayed at Matt's cottage for a little more than a year, as I had an appointment at the University of Oxford. Matt and Sarah are simply the best landlords we've ever had. They've been very attentive and accommodating for any and all requests.

The cottage itself is absolutely charming. It is exactly as advertised and exceeded our expectations. The layout of the cottage was very spacious for my wife and me. The furnishings were more than sufficient and the extra room was very nice for when family or friends came to visit. It served us very well during the 1+ year of our stay.

For those looking for a quieter lifestyle, it is the perfect option. Location-wise, after living in Oxford for 6+ years (we've lived in Botley, Cowley, Jericho, and Summertown), I can say that this was my favourite location. The bus stop is right in front of the property, which gave us quick access to Oxford's city centre (~25mins). In the area around the cottage, there are a few pubs and several nice paths to explore the countryside, for those more inclined to ramble on the weekends. The Kidlington town centre itself is very functional, with all the amenities one could need, and it is just a short walk away. The town centre also has a very nice farmer's market on the weekend that runs year-round.

The property has a great outdoor setting, surrounded by lots of green. We even had the chance to work on our gardening skills in the backyard. Overall, we had an excellent experience all around and would highly recommend renting this property.
