We stayed at this apartment for just over a month, as I taught at AGH University. This apartment was as promised. We would stay there again. LOCATION: The apartment is within easy (5 minute) walk to the main Krakow Square. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the Galleria Krakow shopping centre and the attached train station. You can get to Krakow tram and city bus service in a 2-3 minute walk. It looks like there would be easy public transit to most Krakow universities. The street is safe and well-lit. There are a few restaurants very close by, and there are 3-4 convenience stores with 2-3 minute walk. There is a fresh fruit/vegetable and meat market (Stary Kleparz) within a few minutes’ walk. We did not have a car, but street parking would have been difficult. Taxis are a few minutes away (half way to the main Krakow square). THE APARTMENT: The apartment has a large kitchen and living room (with a pull-out bed…we did not use it). There is one bedroom with a double bed and an ensuite washroom (stand-up shower). The second bedroom has a couch rather than a full bed. There is a washing machine in the second washroom. There is good ventilation in the apartment, and air conditioning if needed. It is bright and comfortable. The internet signal was strong and steady. There is no TV. Closet space is adequate. The building always had people coming or going, but noise was not an issue at all. THE PEOPLE: The owner, Barbara, was easy to deal with and quick to reply to emails. Magda, the property manager, was friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience.
