ABOUT THE SPACE
This is a bright 2BR, 2Bath apartment right across the street from Prospect Park. Kitchen/living area has custom-built bookshelves/workspace. And washer/dryer in-unit! The living room faces north, but gets really beautiful reflected light from the building across the way. The bedroom for rent also has an eastern-facing window so is very bright in the morning.

Please note that this is a shared apartment! However, bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment, and **each person has their own bathroom.**

The location could not be more perfect.
The apartment is *right in front of the park.* You could not be closer, which is especially important during pandemic conditions.

The apartment is also half a block from the Prospect Park B-Q-S, which gets you to NYU and the New School in about 20 minutes.
(Get to either Union Square (Q) or Washington Sq Park (B) in 20 minutes, or connect to Crown Heights via the S shuttle).

The neighborhood is lively and one block away you have Flatbush Ave, which has tons of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc.

4th floor, no elevator.


RENTAL DETAILS:
The master bedroom is available for sublet from Jan 15 to the end of May (4.5 months) at $1400 for the month. The precise start and end dates can be somewhat flexible, but cannot go past end of May.

The room is rather minimalist, with a bed, a chair in the bedroom, and some shelving. The bedroom has a big closet for storage. *Room has its own bathroom*


ABOUT YOU
Because this is a shared space, I am looking for someone who is clean, kind, and respectful.

You would be sharing the space with a gregarious and fun urban planner. He is very easy to get along with (and we hope you are too!). Please note that he is working from home right now, so our preference is for someone who would not be also home all day. So if you are doing research at an archive, for example, that would be ideal.
