The Apartment has a very lovely terrace garden attached to it. See the pictures. Very central location and yet very quiet flat. Perfect for writers, academics and anyone who wants a little bit of P&Q in London and yet it's 5 mins walk from hustle and bustle of London. Hassle-free stay as all utilities are included in the rent - Gas, Electricity, Water, Internet, and telephone. A two-hour cleaning service per fortnight is also included in the rental fees. It's a no-smoking apartment.

The apartment is very close to Supermarkets such as Waitress, Tesco, and Sainsbury, nearby Street markets, lots of Cafes & Restaurants. A detailed list of nearby facilities and amenities is provided in the flat.

Ensuite bathroom (Bath, Shower & WC). There is an internal laundry in this bathroom - (Samsung combined washing machine & dryer) – linen cupboard, all bed and bath linen provided.

The entrance hall leads to the main reception room. Doors leading to the roof terrace. Separate galley style kitchen with Bosch appliances – dishwasher, fridge, gas hob, electric oven, and microwave.

The apartment has a wifi connection, television, and music system. Gas fired central heating system.

Location:

A very quiet and small street, just a few minutes walk from Westminster Abbey and Parliament. Excellent public transport (bus, underground and mainline rail services). Underground stations Westminster and St. James Park are walking distance (less than 10 mins walk), mainline railway stations Victoria and Waterloo. Nearest Bus Stop is a one-minute walk from the building.

It's easy walking distance to the River Thames, St. James Park, West End Theatres, South Bank concert halls, the National Theatre, and Tate Gallery.

I spent 3 very happy months in this apartment while on a sabbatical in London. From the moment I entered the place with the warmest of welcomes it immediately felt like home. The apartment has a lovely and stylish atmosphere and is well equiped with all one needs for a comfortable stay, including a generous build-in wardrobe in the bedroom. The large roof top terrace that runs along the length of the apartment is beautifully arranged and maintained and is a wonderful feature, great for al fresco dining or just relaxing with a drink or a book. The location is superb. The buzz of London is at your doorstep, yet the place is peaceful and quiet. It is only moments away from Westminster Abbey, the Parliament square and St James's park and a very pleasant walking distance to Piccadilly, Trafalgar Square, Soho and Covent Garden with all the theatres, museums, galleries, pubs and restaurants. The place is well connected via the underground (St James's park station is 3-4 min away) and multiple bus routes. Victoria station is at a brisk 10 min walk. All kinds of shops and services are within a short walking distance. The communication with the owner/manager of the apartment is easy and hassle free, arrangements and queries and are handled in a fast and professional manner. The flat is superbly located and feels immediately like home. It has everything one might need, indeed is generously supplied, and is in a quiet historic building close to great shopping. The kind owner clearly loves the place, giving me great local suggestions, and the agent and caretakers were responsive and delightful - all really going out of their way to make me comfortable. With Westminster in one direction and St. James' Park in the other - and both tube stops so convenient - it is a glorious place to live and work in London. I rented the flat for 6 months in 2015 while working in the UK. The apartment really felt like a home and the owners could not have been more welcoming and kind in getting us settled. The kitchen is well equipped for real cooking with high quality pots and pan. The place was not just put together to rent out, but is furnished to really live in. The furniture is not IKEA. The location was perfect. Close to everything with supermarkets, restaurants, and transportation all readily accessible. We loved the Strutton Grounds food stands for lunch and Wagamamas for those nights just don't want to cook. Westminster Abbey, Parliament Square, and Big Ben never fail to impress. The kids loved to hang out in St. James Park and look for the storks and get ice cream. We are hoping to return and recommend the apartment whole heartily! Excellent Louisa 9/16/2017 5:55:00 PM
This light-filled and comfortable apartment has been perfect for the needs of my 18 year old son and myself over a 6 month period. Its location is superb, just minutes from Westminster Abbey in one direction and St James's Park in another; shops, amenities and transport connections are highly local and convenient. Inside the apartment everything is beautifully organised and easy to manage: we were treated with the utmost courtesy and helpfulness by the owner as we settled in and have enjoyed living here to the full.
