Covent Garden pied a terre

This fantastic one bedroom apartment to rent in Covent Garden is located in a period red brick mansion block to the East of the Covent Garden piazza in the heart of theatre land. It is 5 minutes from the LSE, King's College, the Royal Opera House, the National Gallery, the Courtauld Institute and the British Museum not to speak of Covent Garden’s many bars, restaurants, cafes and boutique shops. There are excellent transport links across London with nearby Covent Garden, Holborn, Embankment and Leicester Square tube stations and numerous buses from the Aldwych.
The apartment is located in a mansion block accessed from the street through gates with a security system. These lead into the communal courtyard garden. There is a sense of community and neighbourliness among the residents of the block. The one bedroom apartment is well presented throughout with wood flooring, a tiled bathroom and beautiful sash windows which allow light to flood in. Despite its central location in a cultural hub, the apartment is insulated from noise with secondary glazing. The apartment is furnished in a contemporary style with some antique pieces.

About Me
I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist with a private practice in Covent Garden, central London. My previous career was in publishing, specialising in children's literature. I have also written self-help books for young people. My husband is a Film Director whose most recent films were on Lead Belly and New York band Blondie. We are now planning our retirement and joined this site with a view to letting our London pied-a -terre to like minded people who will benefit from our central location while we are at our house in France. Our apartment is in "the heart of Theatreland", five minutes walk from LSE, King's College, The British Museum, The National Gallery and the Royal Opera House, not to speak of numerous restaurants and boutique shops.

My girlfriend and I stayed in Alan and Rosemary's apartment for three-four weeks during the summer of 2017. It remains one of the best short rental experiences we have had! The location is fantastic. And despite being so central, the fact that it is tucked away within a courtyard complex means it is quiet and cosy. And the apartment itself is beautiful. It was clean, tastefully decorated, and gets lots of light. It had everything one might need for a short stay, including various cooking equipments. There is also a through cleaning scheduled for every weekend. Alan and Rosemary were extremely nice (we got to meet them on the day we were leaving) and were available for any questions or issues we had throughout the stay. We plan to keep going back to this apartment for our yearly London stay every summer. Excellent Sandipto Dasgupta 2/28/2018 1:00:00 AM
Covent Garden Pied a Terre is outstanding in every way! It is exactly as advertised and more. It is in a beautiful, quiet building in a fantastic location in the center of the Theater District. It is cozy and perfect for an individual or a couple. Well outfitted and well maintained by hosts that are fantastic and most accommodating! My husband and I have stayed here for several extended stays, and we'll be back at every opportunity. It is our preferred rental when in London! Excellent Shirley 2/20/2018 9:08:00 AM
We stayed in this jewel-like flat in the summer of 2017. It is located in the heart of Covent Garden, near many restaurants and theatres. The flat is small but well equipped, with generous bed, closet space, comfortable living room, and good-sized kitchen and bathroom. The owners were very pleasant and easy to deal with. This was a lovely place to stay, and we hope to return in subsequent years. Excellent Jo Ann 2/19/2018 9:43:00 AM
We loved this apartment! The apartment was perfect for two people. It was clean, has a good size bathroom and well kitted-out kitchen. It is in the best location – in the Theatre District (but away from the noise and nightly commotion), walkable to St Paul’s, the financial district and Trafalgar Square. There are two tube stops near-by and the flat is three blocks from the Thames. The owners left clear instructions and detailed local information and they were very responsive to my emails. I would recommend this flat to anyone who wants to see London and have a comfortable place to call “home” at the end of the day. Excellent Angel 2/19/2018 5:49:00 AM
