It’s a friendly, ‘villagey’ area with coffee bars, local shops and restaurants, a very large Sainsbury’s supermarket and smaller Waitrose, local food market, sports centre with swimming pool, post office and banks all within 1-2 minutes walk of the flat. The transport hub of Victoria Station, (with Victoria, Circle & District tube lines, plus buses to just about everywhere) is 5 minutes walk away. Pimlico Tube Station is 5 minutes walk in the opposite direction.

I trained as an architect but for many years worked as a documentary maker for the BBC and C4 in countries such as Afghanistan, Tajikistan, China, Ethiopia etc. For the last 20 years I have been dealing in antique textiles and jewellery from Africa and Asia, and have published my research on heirloom beads in Southeast Asia. My research has been funded by an Intach UK Trust Grant from Icomos, The Bead Study Trust (UK) and the Bead Society of Los Angeles. I speak fluent French and some German and Italian.

I highly recommend this flat at the heart of London. I spent a few months here in the Spring of 2017 and could not have asked for a better place. The flat is conveniently located at walking distance from Victoria and Pimlico. It is situated in a very quiet street (cul-de-sac), with a bakery, shops, restaurants, and a local market just around the corner. The bedroom, sitting area, and kitchen are all situated at the back of the house and overlook the garden, so you hardly have any street noise. In addition, the many windows allow for lots of natural light, making the rooms very airy and bright. I got on with the landlady very well - Barbie is a lovely person and a good landlady - and thought it convenient that all amenities were included in the rent. I strongly recommend you to rent this flat. The flat is bright, quite, and beautiful. You have two balconies and a wonderful view on a super relaxing and nice garden. Therefore, you have the advantage of a relaxing place in the heart of London, at a walking distance from Victoria and Pimlico metro station. The location is cool, you have whatever you need in your proximity (restaurants, super markets, cafe, boulangerie). So, the flat is fantastic, in a very nice quartier and, as if this was not enough, Barbie is a very kind, polite and nice owner. You will really feel at home. Excellent stefania 2/21/2017 7:55:00 AM
