BEAUTIFUL INTERIOR DESIGNED SEMI-DETACHED VICTORIAN HOME IN LONDON

Our three bedroom family home will be available from 27th July to the 31st August 2019 and again from the 18th to the 27th of October.

It is a fantastic home with many original features and is beautifully decorated throughout. There is a lovely walled garden overlooking allotments and a large summerhouse making an ideal writers retreat.
The house comprises of a master bedroom with ensuite shower and loo. A further family bathroom with an antique roll top bath and shower. There are 2 further bedrooms, one single and one with bunk beds. There is a large kitchen overlooking the garden with an island and large dining table. A sitting room with a desk and a laundry room and downstairs toilet. The summerhouse also has a desk and a day bed.

The home is in a prime residential area near Brixton and Oval (Zone 2). It is a 20min bus ride or 15min cycle to the Houses of Parliament and has great transport links to all the major central London university sites. Buses leave almost every minute from virtually outside the door, or it is a ten minute walk to Stockwell underground station for the Victoria and Northern lines.

We love the vibrant and multicultural area: there are always lots of events and activities. There is a good park one minute walk away, and a great one five minutes walk away with regular music and festivals. Brixton Village is a ten minute walk with an amazing range of world food stalls and small independent restaurants. Alternatively South Bank, Covent Garden, Oxford Street etc are only a short journey, but we find it hard to tear ourselves away from Brixton for a fun and good value evening!

We greatly enjoyed staying in this light & spacious family home with front & back garden areas, during July & August 2019. We also made some use of the summer house. Lovely owners who were flexible & very helpful regarding all arrangements. Excellent position for access to buses & the underground. Excellent Mary 1/16/2020 1:45:00 PM
