3 bed central London family house with garden for Summer 2020 - British Library 10 mins by train

A comfy and spacious family home with quick access to London's central University zone, Hampstead and West End. In the leafy and safe area of Queens Park, a Victorian community with elegant parks and shops close at hand. Zone 2 of the transport system with three different tube lines within ten minutes walk means fast commutes to the University areas, and many easy ways to explore London. A Sabbatical Homes property for 10 years, with many happy users.

This is a family home during the year but every summer and Christmas we ship ourselves out completely, leaving a child-friendly ready-to-live residence for a new family to discover and enjoy. Games, bikes, sports centre cards etc at your disposition. And we know the scene for keeping all ages entertained - language classes, youth clubs, drama activities etc - and always help our guests to set up arrangements for their young people.

The house has 3 reception rooms (one of them can serve as an extra bedroom), 3 bathroom/toilets, 3 bedrooms, and a separate study/office in the garden. All modern conveniences. The owners Steve and Kasia are educators with two young teenage children, and you will find art, books and curiosities for all ages to make this a memorable and atmospheric stay and an affordable base for your research or your UK holiday.

6 weeks summer 2018. A truly fantastic house in a great location. Quiet, cross-ventilated, lovely garden, comfortable beds, sunny, first-rate kitchen equipment, easy walk to 3 tube and several bus lines, Aldi, Sainsbury, health food, fruit/veg, nice parks nearby, great ethnic and other dining. We were in heaven. Couldn't have asked for more. Steve, the owner, couldn't have been more responsive. Perfect experience. Excellent Daniel M. 9/6/2018 5:23:00 AM
We stayed in this London home for five weeks and could not have been happier. It's an ideal location for commuting to research centers in central/greater London with easy access to the Tube (5 min. walk). The neighborhood has several excellent restaurants and parks. The house is lovely, with working appliances, great wireless connection, and comfortable living space (perfect for a family). Stephen is most generous in sharing his home as well as his extensive knowledge of London. Excellent London Washington 9/8/2014 11:24:00 AM
We are extremely happy with our rental from Stephen. He was great to deal with - friendly and warm, but always professional and quick to deal with any issues that arose. The flat was wonderful - as often seems to be the case, bigger and nicer than the photos suggested - and very well equipped. The garden was an absolute blessing with our two kids, and the garden studio great for their lessons and for guests. The neighborhood is also terrific in London - it's easy to get in to town (I biked easily into Bloomsbury, but it's also quick from Queen's Park, which is less than five minutes) - and near all the shops.

Our tips: the overground from Queen's Park is cheaper and quicker to Euston than the underground, the local library is has a nice kids section, and Mr Fish on the corner gives 10% off the chips with the loyalty card!

Thanks for a greta stay!
