Very close to the squares of Bloomsbury, and the transport links of Kings Cross and St Pancras in the heart of London’s still vibrant Knowledge Quarter, this beautiful home will enable you to relax and enjoy a restful, safe, and productive stay, even if you need to be self-isolating. Many local shops deliver food and other amenities, and a comprehensive list of services will be provided to all guests.

During your daily exercise, you can walk to Covent Garden, the British Museum, and the numerous colleges of Bloomsbury and nearby, including UCL, LSE, Kings College London, SOAS, Birkbeck, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and UCLH. Imperial and London Business School are within easy biking distance.

The many buses around the corner from the house or the underground at Kings Cross will take you to the LSE, Queen Mary University of London, University College London, or SOAS. Comprehensive local transport links ensure that all other London colleges are also easily accessible.


Fully renovated over the last few years, the house consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room, separate dining room, spacious kitchen and bathroom, and courtyards to the front and rear.

The bespoke kitchen is fully equipped with easy-close drawers, a pull-out pantry, open shelving, task lighting, quartz countertops, an orange backsplash, induction hob, convection oven, and Miele dishwasher and fridge-freezer. You will find a full set of kitchen equipment, including Le Creuset pots and pans and a Heal's crockery set, as well as a good selection of basic cooking ingredients. The high-end Bosch washing machine / dryer, installed in 2019, is stored away from the kitchen in a cupboard between the main bedroom and bathroom. Laundry can also be securely put out to dry in the sunny front courtyard off the bedroom.

The south-facing main bedroom has a (British) king-size bed with reading lamps, goose down pillows and duvet, two cupboards with double rails, a large dresser, mirror, and a large sash window and door onto the adjoining courtyard fitted with a table and 2 chairs. All linen and towels are top quality.

The second bedroom has a (British) queen-sized bed, large dresser and mirror, reading lamps, and a sash window facing the back garden.

The front room is spacious and bright with a sofa, two chairs, and large footstool, as well as a new Smart Panasonic television with cable, BBC iPlayer, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and several other apps. There is high-speed Internet as well as a landline.

The dining area has a Mathew Hilton table and chairs that comfortably seats 6-8. There is also an antique desk with stationery, printer, and a bookshelf. Four additional chairs may be found in the understairs cupboard.

The bathroom is fitted with a rain shower over a large and very deep two-person tub.

The courtyard garden to the rear of the property is spacious and private. Fitted with a large gas BBQ, as well as a sofa, footstool, tables and chairs, the inner courtyard provides a cool outdoor oasis on warm days. On cooler days, the chiminea warms this cosy living and dining space sheltered by ivy-covered garden walls.

The roof was replaced with Welsh slate in 2016 and the German boiler is new, efficient, and runs from an app on your phone. There’s a new gas fireplace in the dining room. Guests will be cosy and warm in the winter months.

The house is on a quiet street, with a school across the way, so guests can feel easy about resting and working at home, yet there are coffee shops, a dry cleaner, several large grocery stores, a post office, theatres, libraries, and cinemas within close walking distance.

A maximum of 4 guests can sleep in the house at any one time.

While Angel Station is nearby, the closest tube station is Kings Cross St Pancras with six underground lines (Piccadilly, Northern, Hammersmith and City, Circle, District, Bakerloo), as well as national and international rail service, including the Eurostar to Paris and Brussels. London is known for its garden squares and it’s worth checking out the new Granary Square behind Kings Cross as well as the more well-known Russell, Bedford, Tavistock and Gordon Squares, all of which are within easy reach of the house. Regent's Canal is five minutes away, while Regent's Park is roughly a 30-minute walk, with Primrose Hill just a little further beyond.


Waitrose, Sainsbury, and Tesco can be found within easy walking distance.


There are few house rules, but there is strictly no smoking allowed.


No pets are permitted on the property.

No parties or events.

Not safe or suitable for children (0-12 years).

You will be staying in a small street with permanent residents. Please respect others' needs for privacy and quiet.
