Georgian townhouse in the heart of London close to museums, Universities and Hospitals.
2 bedrooms (1 UK king, 2 single/twin beds (bunk bed), plus 1 sofa bed in the upper living room. 2 reception rooms and 1.25 bathrooms. This beautiful character-filled home is just 2 miles from Charing Cross (the official centre of London. An 8 minute walk from the world famous Cricket Ground - the Oval - and the underground station.

The space

This stylish 2 bed property has been lovingly renovated and brought up to date to cater ideally as a home from home for a family of 3-4. Set over three floors, with a large double bedroom a single room (bunk beds) and a sofa bed in the living room, it is your perfect home from home.
Upon entry you are greeted by a grand hallway with stairs leading up to the bedrooms and bathrooms and also stairs leading out to the 35 foot garden. On the hallway floor is a huge kitchen and dining room, happily seating 8.

Towards the back of the house is the large fully equipped kitchen. With a huge professional oven/hob and double fridge freezer you never need eat out again on your stay. With kettle, 4 slice toaster, double sink, microwave, dishwasher and an eclectic variety of cook books it has everything you might need.
The kitchen over looks the south facing rear garden and when the sun is shining the light cascades in.

The main living room is on the first floor and hosts a variety of chic seating and tables and a smart 32" TV with Sky Satellite and DVD player, as well as a hidden huge projector screen, for your family movie nights! There is also a cupboard containing games and DVD's for all your entertainment needs. One of the sofas is a sofa bed, best only for one person though.

Back on the landing there is a toilet which has been decorated with a huge ordinance survey map of London so one need never be bored on the toilet again.
There is also the door to the single bedroom. It has a walk-in wardrobe (closet) with plenty of storage space.
Going up to the third floor you will find another huge bedroom with king size bed and walk in wardrobe. On this floor is also the main bathroom with separate shower and bath. There is also a washing machine and ironing board in the cupboard on the landing.

You will also enjoy sole access to the delightful outdoor garden at the rear of the house.

You will be greeted by Luke our house manager who will be your contact whilst we are away. He lives a few doors down the road and is very friendly.

Transport:

Transport to the apartment from all the major airports is easy, especially Heathrow and Gatwick where the express trains are just a bus away which will take you door to door. Full travel instructions are available to you upon booking.

Area:

Camberwell, Oval, Victoria and Brixton are all bustling, thriving hot spots in London and all accessible from the front door by foot, or bus if you're feeling like a rest.

Also reachable by foot or a short bus ride are Kings College Hospital, Guys and St. Thomas's hospital, London School of Art, Tate Britain, and The British War Museum, as well as the US Embassy and many other industry and educational hubs.
