Gorgeous, quiet & comfortable flat in Central London NW6

Stunning one bedroom flat on a quiet leafy street, close to Queen's Park and all the joys of this charming London area. The flat is in an 1880s building and has many beautiful architectural features.

Queen's Park is a fashionable central area with excellent transport connections, tube (Bakerloo Line), buses and rail links. There is a direct train link to Euston Station and the British Library, which gets you there in under 20mn, door to door. Central London (Oxford Circus / Marble Arch) is 15mn away by tube or bus.
There are many lovely restaurants in the area and Queens Park is only a short walk from the flat, and is great in the summer. Wonderful bars, delis, supermarkets and restaurants are all within walking distance of the flat and every Sunday, the award winning Queen's Park Farmers Market is a delight of fresh organic produce and delicious food.

The apartment has beautiful period features, wonderful high cellings, wooden floors throughout and huge bay windows, giving it a bright and airy feel. It has lots of natural light and is sunny, whenever the London weather allows!

Utilities, HD satellite TV and high-speed wi-fi broadband are included in the rental fee, but not Council Tax (£135 monthly).

If you have any questions, just get in touch. The flat is truly gorgeous, and previous tenants have really enjoyed their stay. Have a look at their feedback!

The flat is available for short lets only (one to three months)

We spent a month in London doing academic research in an institute just south of Euston Station. The flat met our needs perfectly. We took the overground to Euston from Kilburn High Road each day -- a ten-minute ride. Other times we used the Barkerloo tube line, which cuts across London diagonally. The flat is well situated about a six minutes walk from Kilburn High Road, which has several high quality food stores, and a ten minute walk to Salusbury Road, with an abundance of restaurants for all tastes. The flat itself is on the first floor (American definition), bright and airy with big windows in both the front and the back. The kitchen is small but well equipped and functional. Our only challenge as an older couple, one of whom has bad knees, was getting out of the rather low bed. We would definitely return! Excellent Helen Ladd 7/4/2016 7:39:00 AM
I really enjoyed my monthlong stay in this apartment (in June 2014). First of all, the unit itself is gorgeous. It's beautifully decorated and comfortably appointed, which makes it a perfect place to sleep, work, cook, and enjoy a rainy day indoors.

I also really loved the neighborhood, which I probably wouldn't have known about had I not stayed there. It's got plenty of grocery stores in Kilburn High Road (Marks & Spencer, Tesco, and Sainsbury are all within a 10 minute walk) and Salusbury Road, the main drag in Queen's Park, is a lovely place to take a stroll, have a meal, or grab a drink. There's also a nice range of fitness options nearby, including Bannatyne's gym in Maida Vale, Fierce Grace Yoga on Kilburn Lane, as well as Queen's Park, if you like to run.

I was initially worried about feeling too far away from central London. But the neighborhood is extremely accessible and convenient (with the added bonus of feeling like an actual neighborhood instead of hotel district). You can get to the British Library in about 15-20 minutes via the overground, and to the theater district and tourist zone in the same amount of time via the Bakerloo line on the underground. So I never felt as though I was far away from the action.

Overall, I was thoroughly satisfied with my experience, and highly recommend the apartment, and Viviana, should you find yourself searching for housing in London.

My husband and I stayed at this flat for two months in Spring 2012 while I was completing a postdoctoral fellowship. We were extremely satisfied: the flat was very clean, with modern kitchen appliances, well-furnished, and spacious enough to allow us to have friends come over for dinner. Close to Queen's Park and Kilburn High Road station, commuting to Euston to take the train or work at the British Library was very easy and convenient, and I could jog in the park on a daily basis. Sainsbury's and Marks & Spencer are located 5 minutes away. This is a very calm neighbourhood, and writing at home was great, with the working desk facing a beautiful garden. Given the London market, we thought it was worth the price requested. Getting the security deposit back was easy, and Viviana was very friendly and professional. Should I have to come back to London for an extended stay, I would not hesitate to contact her again.

Reply from owner: There was never any mould in the bedroom, just smell coming from the bathroom drains, due to some roadworks the municipality was doing nearby. Everything looked (and smelled!) absolutely fine by the time we checked, but just in case, we also cleaned the drains in the bathroom. We've had many happy tenants since.

Complaint: The room downstairs was not possible to use as a bedroom due to the smell of mould, which was particularly strong from the bathroom.
