I would highly recommend this lovely flat. The location is wonderful, with groceries, restaurants, shops and pubs within easy walking distance. There are two tube stops within about 10-15 minutes walk. We enjoyed the walk, so this was not a problem for us (though I'd recommend getting a taxi from the tube stop if you have luggage). My brother joined me in London, and I stayed in the bedroom, which was very comfortable, and he slept in the office area/second bedroom. The building is secure, quiet, and very nice, and neighbors we encountered were cheery. Most importantly, the flat itself is full of character. I stayed here during my sabbatical and felt so at home. It was not like other places I have stayed, which didn't feel like homes or as if anyone lived there otherwise. The owners are so warm and inviting, and this comes through clearly in the home. They are fantastic, and we enjoyed talking with them. We loved the bookshelves, the beautiful windowed door overlooking a lovely garden, and the equipped kitchen. We were sad to leave this place when my time was up in London. If you like a place with great character, that is warm and inviting, and feels like a home and not a rental facility, this flat is for you. Excellent Catherine Coleman 3/4/2017 9:16:00 AM
