About Me
I'm an academic, writer and director and spend time in New York and London. So I've had some great experiences with short rentals, with some annual returning tenants. The flat is not big has a sweet patio and is perfect for short stays and close to the British Library and central London.

Stayed in this cosy apartment for 6 months and enjoyed every day. The location is very convenient for central London and the vibrant neighbourhood of Highbury and Islington, yet very quiet and with access to private garden. FT was very responsive and helpful. Happy to give my best recommendations. Excellent Barbara Malene Fischer 3/3/2019 8:13:00 AM
We stayed at Fiona's lovely flat in Islington in December 2015 for 1 month. It is artisticaly decorated, kitchen is well equipped and we slepth very well because it is quiet. Everything went very smoothly with arranging things with Fiona - she is a friendly person! The flat was ideally located in a nice neighbourhood, extremely convenient for the tube, overground and shops. We would stay there again during our forthcoming visits to London! My partner and I first stayed at Fiona's flat for two and a half months a few summers ago. We liked staying there so much that we subsequently sublet from her two more times. The flat is a cozy, well appointed one bedroom with a lovely garden in the back (and a beautiful. purple butterfly bush that flowers in the summer). It is also in an extremely convenient location: it's just a few blocks from the Highbury & Islington tube station, which gets you to King's Cross and the British Library in one stop. You can also take the Overground from Highbury & Islington direct to the Kew Gardens stop and the National Archives (no changing trains). Highbury & Islington is a very liveable neighborhood as well: there are a lot of grocery stores and places to do shopping, as well as some very nice restaurants (Ottolenghi). In addition to having a great flat, Fiona is a very responsible and conscientious landlord, and she always addressed any concerns or questions in a prompt manner. I would recommend her place very highly to anyone looking to spend some time in London doing research. Excellent Julie Kim 2/17/2015 12:07:00 PM
