Bright and sunny Apt 4-5 persons with a view over the city

Beautiful apartment with two bedrooms and a mezzanine under the roof of an old house in the historic district of Lyon. Very quiet and sunny. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom (dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, cooker, coffee machine, electric kettle, freezer and fridge, Internet, TV, boardgames, books in French and English) . Linen is provided. One Queen size bed and three single beds (plus futon mattress if needed). One bathroom + one separate Toilet. Situated in the city centre. Shops cinemas, museums, restaurants at a walking distance. I live downstairs and I can help for any request, I know and love my city.

About Me
I'm an English teacher on sabbatical. I've been teaching English for more than 19 years. I have been in charge of coordinating European Erasmus school partnerships for 16 years and I've been training and helping other teachers to build successful partnerships in my academic district. For these exchanges I've travelled a lot in Europe and I have built lifelong friendships with some other European teachers. I deeply believe that exchanges are essential for peace and understanding. I also trust in sharing knowledge, abilities and resources. I still travel a lot in The US since I’ve got family in Massachussets, my sister in law is a professor at Berkelee College of Music and my daughter is a postdoc associate at Berkeley. I’ve also travelled in some countries in Asia. My husband is the local MD of an international packaging machine manufacturer. As a family we've exchanged our home, our country-house ad our car with homes in Australia, Sant Lucia (West indies) and London. We’ve been hosting foreign students for more than 25 years in our home.
