This fully furnished, beautiful condo is available in the Fall semester of 2023 (September 1st through December) for periods of at least one month (however, rental periods of at least 2 months are preferred). It is located in the near East side of Madison, a 10 minutes drive from Dane County airport and above the bus stop of the downtown/campus bus. It is across the street from the best Madison pizzeria; other nearby amenities within walking distance include many restaurants, cafes, parks, grocery stores, the city commuter bike path, a gym, the Olbrich Botanical Gardens, the Goodman Community Center. Lake Monona is 3 blocks South, so the surroundings are urban and rural at the same time. There is a wide open living space with a gas fireplace, a large bedroom with a nice balcony, and a laundry room. The total surface is 958 square feet (89 square meters). The apartment is in town-house style, on two floors, with a full bathroom upstairs and a half bathroom downstairs; it has a lot of light and beautiful hardwood floors. The living room couch can be converted to an extra bed for guests. If it is made known in advance, the garage can be rented for an additional charge. The building is heated and additional heating is necessary for only a couple of months, so that the gas and electric bill on most months does not exceed about $60. WiFi and internet available. The 2002 building hosts only 11 living units, a hair salon, and insurance offices. An exercise room is also available. We are going to leave all kitchen utensils, linen and towels. The owner has two storage rooms in the heated basement, and some space may be made for the tenant.
