When we originally chose Brielle and Steve’s cottage as our California home for the 2019-2020 academic year, we could never have envisioned the way the year would unfold. Choosing this home was the best decision we made. This cottage, with its beautiful garden (that makes for a great outdoor office), is truly the perfect place to ride out a pandemic quarantine. We miss the lemon tree, fresh tomatoes, the local Hacienda burritos, and the proximity to all of the natural beauty of northern California. Brielle and Steve are incredible hosts, attentive and helpful but they also give you your space. The neighborhood is great, we took many long walks to see local gardens, and it is an easy bike ride from Stanford and the Caltrain. We would return to this Menlo Park oasis in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and book today. Excellent Reid Pauly 12/1/2020 9:19:00 AM
Heaven is a place – this place. Steve and Brielle's cottage made our year in the Bay Area ideal in every sense. Fruit on the vine, birds in the trees, a private little patio area for eating outside 350 days of the year. These two should win lifetime achievement awards for making Menlo Park feel like a home away from home. If I could pick up stakes and move into Steve and Brielle's cottage for the rest of my life, I would. In the meantime, we have our fond memories and two new friends who feel like family.
