My wife and I have had a lovely stay in Raphaël and Sarah’s beautiful apartment during our sabbatical. It's a charming place, spacious for a one bedroom, with immensely high ceilings and windows, which let in huge amounts of light. It’s comfortable and tastefully furnished and the kitchen is well-equipped – we cook all the time and have people over. The building is literally directly above 125th St express subway station, so getting to NYU, for example, is very easy – you can be in the West Village in 20 minutes on the A or D. Columbia is a hop, skip and a jump away. There are good restaurants, hip brunch places, etc in walking distance and a great bakery. Raphaël and Sarah are super friendly, helpful with neighbourhood tips and easy to communicate with by email. We highly recommend it and would stay here again!
