Available! Lovely one bedroom beside Columbia

Large, bright, tastefully furnished home on Manhattan's famous Upper West Side. Located a short walk from Central Park, Riverside Park, Columbia University, and St John The Divine, you will be in the heart of the city’s intellectual district.

The neighborhood has an amazing variety of amenities and attractions including boundless outdoor activities in Central Park and Morningside Park, shopping on Broadway/Upper West Side, Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues. The location is also convenient to the Columbia University and other area colleges in Morningside Heights, along with the Upper West Side neighborhood to the South and West. The nearby Columbus Square shopping center features Whole Foods, pharmacy and various retail stores. Nearby Frederick Douglass Boulevard in South Harlem has one of Manhattan's premiere restaurant rows with a wide range of cuisines and live music venues. Everything you are looking for in a community is here: excellent public transportation via the B, C and #1 subways; buses to the east side and downtown and an all-year round Saturday farmer's market 3 blocks away on 110th Street and Manhattan Avenue.

The apartment is railroad style so all rooms are connected. It is considered a generous size in NYC. Please note that there is no elevator and you will need to climb three flights of stairs. Heat and hot water is included in the rent. All other bills are extra.

Lorraine was an amazing host - very responsive and provided a lot of detailed and useful information about both the apartment, and the local area. The apartment was fantastic and location was perfect, I'm sad to have left! Excellent Ben Sparkes 11/26/2019 1:21:00 PM
