Serene, Airy 2 or 3 month or (more) Fantastic Sublet in East Village

FOR RENT: beginning August 1st and potentially extending through fall, winter and spring. Prefer at least 3 months (thru October) but other possibilities include through Jan 15th (5.5 months), or through winter.

Beautiful, serene, light-filled, renovated, furnished loft, approximately 1200sq. ft. 11' ceilings. Occupying the front of an Artist’s building on splendid street, hardwood floors, AC, DSL, laundry, garden key, 6th floor walkup.

••Please note: the building and neighborhood is being protective in terms of Covid19. We are a small building and communally minded and have kept the building safe and clean. No one here has gotten the virus! Additionally, the loft will be thoroughly cleaned professionally and then left empty for three days before rental begins; as well, we can be somewhat flexible on the rent due to the present health and economic crisis. note: the loft usually rents for considerably more.

Great for couple, artist, dancer, someone new to city looking for a restful place to land, who want to be close but not on top of the hustle and bustle of Midtown Manhattan. On quiet, lovely safe street with trees and proximity to Tompkins Park in a neighborhood that hosts unique book stores, local designers, cafes, and splendid restaurants. On block with some of the best looking landmark buildings in the area.

•Enjoy the neighborhood, order in or use the farmers’ Market which is held in the Park every Sunday. [Operative now with 6 ft lines chalked for customers.] Access to roof (perfect for July 4th which is happening!).
The apartment includes a flat screen TV, stereo, French Press, a fully equipped kitchen, gas range, full bath, internet, wireless, air conditioning, central heating and hot water. Newly painted ceiling and walls. New stainless Paykel Fisher fridge which is good looking and keeps fresh food extremely well. Also new storage closet and wall in bedroom. Open space to dance or do yoga in. 5 to 8 minute walk to the F and L; 10 min to 5,6,N,R. Close to First Ave buses. Lots of City bikes as well.

•Three month rental: July 1 —Sept 30th, 2020 and potentially extending into fall. Minimum 2 mo. July/August. First months’ rent plus one month Security and 3 references. Partial month(s) will be pro-rated. $3750.00/mo. Negotiable. Plus Utilities and Phone.

•This is a special place for the right person(s): 14 windows, 50s modern furniture, classy and spacious. One subletter described as “amazing”; another said he had rarely seen such gracious and elegant space in the city.

Some reviews from past renters:
"This is an incredible apartment. the place is a slice of NY few people get to experience. Everything was perfect, the apartment is full of the best kind of character, and the park is super close. If you are into lofty spaces and have an opportunity to stay here, I highly recommend you do."
•"This comfortable apartment is a joy to come home to at night. And the many windows and books and plants make it a pleasure during the day as well. We had everything we needed for comfort, and the bed is lightly firm and good. The water heats up quickly and the shower has nice pressure."
•"The flat is just amazing. so spacious and central. Really perfect location. Nice and quiet but less than 5 min walk to great breakfast/brunch places. We thought the flat was too good to be true, but was exactly like the pictures and more."
