Beautiful, Fully-Renovated & Furnished Hamilton Heights 1-Bedroom Apartment on Riverside Drive

The dates for renting the apartment are flexible: Ideally,I would like to rent it out for 12, 9, or 6 months at a time. It is a lovely apartment in a nice, friendly, elevator-serviced building that is both walking distance to Columbia Medical School and 3 short train stops to Columbia University's main campus. The area is very pretty and close to Jumel Mansion, the Cloisters, Riverside and Riverbank Park, Sugar Hill, cafes/bars, restaurants, and supermarkets.

You’ll love my place because of the amenities (laundry in-building) and the real feel of living in the city but in an apartment that is super quiet and private! It is also about 10 minutes drive from the George Washington Bridge. Free, street parking in the area is not too bad and can be managed, and there are plenty of monthly garage parking options. There is very good access to the MTA buses and subways (the 1 train, A, B, C, and D trains) - and it's about 20-25 minutes to Columbus Circle. Great for couples and singles.

About the apartment: 1 Bedroom, 600 sq. feet, spacious kitchen (with a dishwasher) and spacious bathroom (with a tub), very comfortable king-sized bed in the bedroom. There is a TV in the living room, with connection to Roku. A smaller mounted TV in the bedroom is connected to AppleTV. Two closets (one that has linens in it already) is available to guests, as well as large chest of drawers.

The apartment is fully-equipped with some space under the bed for storing suitcases and other items. No other storage space is available. It is Manhattan after all!

There are two air conditioners available, and are mounted in the windows during the summer months. The apartment is heated by the building through radiators. You cannot control the heat but can turn radiators on and off. It is very well-heated in the winter. Unlimited supplies of hot water is available 24/7.

If you want to inquire about flexible dates or anything else, please contact me by email, anytime, with your questions.

About Me
I work as a non-profit strategic communications consultant, and am currently working with Women for Afghan Women in New York, in addition to other freelance consultancies. With an education in International Relations, History, Economics, and Filmmaking, I have close to 20 years’ experience in the for-profit and not-for-profit domain, spanning from organizational development and strategic planning to marketing, media, and strategic communications. Before moving to New York in 2012, I worked extensively in the non-profit domain in Jordan and Lebanon with refugee women, youth, and grassroots organizations. In parallel, I have worked and volunteered to promote Middle Eastern arts and culture in Beirut and Amman, and outside the Middle East. My career has been spent working on bringing not-for-profit initiatives towards their strategic goals of attaining sustainability and long-term viability while maintaining the integrity of their core missions and altruistic visions. I have also translated many works--artistic, social and political papers and research-- from Arabic to English. I am currently renting my very sweet, fully-furnished and equipped apartment in Hamilton Heights (right across from Riverside Drive and Park, because I have a house upstate and want to spend more time in California with my brother and his family. The rest of my family lives in Amman, Jordan and I would like to also spend more time between Jordan and the United States. I am happily single, independent, and enjoy life thoroughly! I love art, music, and food. As my ability to work remote becomes increasingly possible, I want to take advantage by traveling more. I love adventure, but the older I get the more I like returning to Western Europe. However, I am planning to explore Eastern Europe and South America more in the near future.
