Freshly painted, south-facing apartment in the heart of the East Village/Alphabet City. Gorgeous hardwood floors with views of back garden. Private and very quiet. Suitable for a couple as bedroom is not fully enclosed at ceiling to allow more light through apartment.

Apartment is fully furnished and includes bed linens, towels, etc.
Kitchen is fully equipped and includes dishes and pots and pans, has some basic spices and has a dishwasher and small appliances.
Apartment has a washer and dryer, but there is also a laundromat on the block if you can't be bothered.

Close to F and JZ lines, 10 minute walk to BDFM and 6 lines.
Get to Midtown in 20 minutes, Downtown in 20 minutes, Downtown Brooklyn in 20 minutes.

On our block is a 24 hour pharmacy, great wine store, and gourmet grocery store. It is incredibly convenient. There is a Whole Foods 10 minute walk away.

We loved living in Xina and Adam's apartment for the year we were in Melbourne. The location is phenomenal, with very easy access to public transport (the tram station is directly outside the building) and walking distance to the excellent Lygon St restaurants. I was working at Royal Children's Hospital, which was an easy 20 minute walk - and would be very access to Peter Mac, Royal Melbourne, Royal Women's, and an easy commute to other major hospitals in Melbourne. The apartment is quite spacious, with two large balconies and is very well maintained. Xina and Adam were fantastic landlords, always responded quickly and were a pleasure to deal with. We loved living in Adam and Xina's flat. It is perfectly located for exploring Melbourne. Carlton is a wonderful neighbourhood with many delicious restaurants and all amenities close at hand. Adam and Xina are great landlords; quick to respond to queries and very easy to communicate with. The flat is great with two balconies, lots of natural light, the open living space and quiet despite being so close to the tram line. We highly recommend living here and wish we could stay longer! Living in and renting this apartment was a great experience, and I was very sad to leave. The apartment is perfectly located for the University of Melbourne (which is where I was working, 5 minutes walk to campus), but also for anyone who wants to be in the CBD within 10 minutes by tram or just to wander around the Lygon Street neighbourhood and its many places to eat and drink. The apartment itself has great light, and is comfortable, very easy to manage and live in, and quiet. My partner and daughter loved staying there too. Adam and Xina were always immediately responsive when I had a query, and hyper-efficient in handling all the formalities. If and when the opportunity arises I would rent this apartment again in a flash.
