Fully Furnished 1-bedroom UWS, steps from Central Park

Location! Location. Location!

This fully renovated (and fully furnished) one-bedroom apartment sits steps from Central Park, nestled quietly between the charm and bustle of the Upper West Side, the academic environment of Morningside Heights and the cultural haven of Harlem.

First floor unit; lofted wood-beam ceilings and exposed accent brick; fully renovated kitchen and bath; five windows spread across all four rooms of the apartment. Major furnishings must stay — most minimal items may be removed upon request.

Literal steps from Manhattan's iconic Central Park -- where every morning I jog and bike, and each evening sit with a book, a laptop, and a glass of wine. 30 seconds from CPW's North Woods, Onasis Reservoir, Lasker Pool (summer) & Rink (winter). 5-minute bike ride to Hudson River Park.

4 West 101 has a live-in super, bike storage and a laundry room. The lobby and hallways have been recently renovated and there is updated video security. Outside the front door you stand between the W. 100th street entrance and CitiBike station and the BC subways at W. 103rd. Groceries about with Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Westside Market, Key Foods and Associated between the building and the 1/2/3 at 96th Street where express trains zip you downtown. Lots of bars and restaurants within 5 minute walk. Columbia & Barnard just up the hill -- 15 minute walk, or 5 minute ride.

Bicycle use/rental can be made available for additional cost.

About Me
Greetings! Our names are Charlie Sutton and Adam Falkner. Adam is a 35-year-old writer, teacher and educational consultant. Charlie is a 36 -year-old Broadway Choreographer. We've lived in Fort Greene, Brooklyn and on the Upper West Side for almost a decade, during which time our life's work has revolved around the creative arts, diversity education, youth culture and business development. A little about Adam: After spending six years as a high school English teacher in New York City's public schools, I returned to graduate school to pursue my PhD in English and Education at Columbia University, and to grow the arts-based diversity consulting group I founded while teaching, the Dialogue Arts Project. In addition to my work and research around DAP, I am the author of several collections of poetry and creative nonfiction, around which I travel the country often for speaking and performing opportunities. A little about Charlie: I am a dancer, choreographer and Co-Artistic Director with almost two decades of Broadway experience. I have originated and danced in 10 Broadway shows, and have worked with Tony award-winning directors and choreographers. I was currently be selected as the 2019 resident for the Jerome Robbins Springboard Project. Broadway Credits: American in Paris, Kinky Boots (Astaire Award Nom), How to Succeed in Business, Lysistrata Jones, Catch Me If You Can, Woman On the Verge of a nervous Breakdown, The Addams Family, Crybaby, La Cage aux Follies, Wicked. Visit charliesutton.net for more information As travelers & hosts, we enjoy all things creative, culinary, and beyond. I (Adam) tend to use my own home as well as homes I am staying in while traveling less as a space to dwell, and more as a space to retreat from the busyness outside -- and as such rarely entertain guests. Because I also often work from home as both a writer and researcher, I tend to keep my spaces incredibly neat, and quiet. For other inquires regarding space or personal, feel free to reach out to me directly!
