Quiet two-bedroom apartment in Leeds area of Northampton

This modern, 900 sq. ft., two-bedroom, fully-furnished apartment is located over a garage on the owner’s property in Leeds just 4 miles from downtown Northampton. Heat, hot water, electricity, cable TV and internet are included. The open kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, disposal and gas stove, and there are a washer and a dryer in the bathroom. The apartment is bright and quiet and has a private entrance, off-street parking, and a small deck overlooking the back yard.

The bike trail and wooded walking trails are less than a mile away, as are Look Park and Northampton Country Club. We are only 1.5 miles from Florence center, 3.5 miles from Smith College, 12 miles from University of Mass Amherst and Amherst College, and 15 miles from Mt. Holyoke College and Holyoke Community College. There are many restaurants, shows, museums, and other activities of all kinds in town and around the area.

The apartment is fully furnished with a queen-size bed in in the master bedroom and a full-size bed in the second bedroom. Dishes, utensils, glassware, cookware, linens, iron, ironing board, and vacuum cleaner are provided.

About Me
My husband and I are retired school teachers. We have lived, traveled and taught in Paraguay, Thailand, Singapore and the United States. We are from Northampton, Massachusetts area originally, and we returned here after retiring a few years ago from Singapore American School. We have a 900-square-foot, two-bedroom apartment above our garage that we would like to rent to educators or someone affiliated with one of the five colleges in this area - short- or long-term.

We really enjoyed our 4 weeks stay in the house. Very clean and nice house. The house has everything you need to be comfortable. The owners were very welcoming and made us feel at ease. We have been blessed to have had this apartment. Everything about it has been just great. Very well designed, comfortable, easy-to-keep living space, with all the amenities we could need in the kitchen. Heating, wi-fi cable tv etc have all been first-rate. We've also enjoyed the lovely setting on a country road, with ample garden space and a sunny deck on which to to sit out. And we could not have asked for better owners to deal with: Shelley and Paul have been most helpful in every way, kind, friendly and discrete.
