Rosemary's home is indeed a gem and we were lucky to stay there on our visit to Melbourne. After a long haul flight it was a pleasure to find everything just as advertised and as Rosemary organized for us before our arrival.

A very welcoming and helpful host, Rosemary is a very clear communicator and very quick to reply to any questions. She also provided an indispensable guide to transit, the shops, cafes and other amenities in the neighborhood.

The house is spacious and clean with comfortable lounges and beds and a fully equipped kitchen. We worked remotely and the wi-fi connection was reliable and fast. The piece de resistance is Rosemary's gorgeous (and low maintenance) patio and garden! Clearly a labour of love and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time outside as well as looking out the large windows overlooking the garden.

No need for a car at Rosemary's! A quick walk takes you to shopping, two train stations (15min max to the CBD), a major tram route into the CBD as well as bus stops. And, Northcote is a wonderful suburb, with lots of green spaces for walks and bike rides side by side all the conveniences of the city.

We can't recommend Rosemary's 'Edwardian Gem' highly enough.
