SPECTACULAR HOME IN THE SKY

Walking into this special home is a dramatic experience. With virtual floor-to-ceiling glass; the sweeping, wrap-around vistas are like being air-borne: the Berkeley/Oakland Hills, the UC Campanile, Lake Merritt, the North Bay, the Oakland skyline and even a peek-a-boo of the Golden Gate with wonderful natural light during the days and the sparkling lights of the hills & city at night. Most first-time visitors just want to stand and admire the views.

The property includes a large living room, modern galley-style kitchen with separate dining area and lounge area. A spacious master suite, guest bedroom/office, second bathroom, and large custom closets offer abundant living, work, and storage space.

Fully furnished & appointed, this is a perfect solution for those visiting the Bay Area for medium to long-term stays whether for business, academic or personal reasons. Or, simply for those in any type of "life" transition. The property at Park Bellevue is beautifully designed in a sleek, contemporary decor while still maintaining a warm, welcoming feel. All you need to do is show up, unpack, and enjoy – everything is provided to make your stay comfortable and practical. And – unlike many furnished places these days, our unit will be delivered immaculate, clutter-free, and without the need to navigate any of owner’s personal apparel, belongings, etc.

Apartment amenities in addition to the expected furnishings include the following: TVs, stereo, I-Home portable music center, wide-screen computer monitor, multi-function printer/scanner. Of course, all bed & bath linens, kitchen appliances, cook-ware, accessories, and dish-ware are included as are initial cleaning & maintenance supplies. TV cable and high-speed internet service are provided.

The building has recently been upgraded with great new common areas, hallways and elevators. Building amenities include secure enclosed parking, sheltered outdoor pool, fitness center & sauna, event room and 24-hour doormen.

Regarding location, Park Bellevue sits on the shores of Lake Merritt with the surrounding Lakeside Park. It’s truly a lovely setting with trails for walking or jogging, bike paths, boating, or simply enjoying a picnic or drink during a lake-side sunset. Just walk out the front door and stroll to the myriad cafes, restaurants and shops of the Grand Avenue-Lakeshore Area. One of the largest and most striking Whole Foods in the Bay Area is just a five-minute walk in addition to Safeway, Trader Joe’s, a major Ace hardware, etc. At the far west edge of the Lake Merritt is the delightful Lake Chalet restaurant with its huge outdoor deck overlooking the water. Just beyond, one finds downtown Oakland amidst its exciting urban renaissance with dining, music and nightlife that are enticing even San Franciscans to cross the Bay! The location is also among the Bay Area's most central & convenient: minutes to San Francisco, Berkeley & Silicon Valley with quick & easy access to all major highways, trans-bay buses, and BART.

I just wanted to highly recommend Robert as a tenant for any landlord. He stayed at our Paris apartment for just a couple of weeks but has been very communicative, courteous and reliable. As a landlord himself, he was also very respectful of the space. Excellent Janka 6/3/2020 2:01:00 PM
We stayed in Rob’s apartment for five months, and couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. The apartment is bright, spacious and perfectly located in the centre of Paris. Rob was always happy to help if we had any questions, and he even showed us around the neighbourhood when we moved in, pointing out his favourite restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The apartment is well equipped, and has lots of storage space. We hope to have the chance some day to stay there again, and would recommend it to anyone planning to spend some time in Paris. Excellent john 4/2/2019 9:24:00 AM
REFERS TO Listing #119177: My partner and I spent 4 months living in Rob's place. The apartment is just as fantastic as the pictures suggest (or, if anything, even better). It is a truly spacious flat, with excellent light, a comfortable bedroom, sizable bathroom and very well equipped kitchen. It is in the heart of Paris, with everything you need at your fingertips. Even though you are seconds from one of the most interconnected subway stations in Paris, you are totally unaware of that: the street is largely pedestrian and completely charming. 2 great grocery stores to choose from, excellent restaurants, produce stores, bakeries etc. Rob is a hugely fair, accommodating and reliable landlord. He was always responsive and went out of his way to ensure we had a lovely stay. I really cannot recommend this place enough. Excellent Laura Noorani 1/15/2019 12:31:00 AM
REFERS TO Listing #119177: We enjoyed the apartment greatly. The main room - open living room and dining room - is spacious and high-ceilinged. The apartment is on one of the best shopping streets in Paris and the many food stores and restaurants are stone's throw away. The one downside is the bedroom - it is often dark and the bed was rather small. The landlord was responsible and helpful and the housekeeper he recommended did an excellent job.

**Owner Remarks:*** I’d like to briefly comment on the observation in Mr. K.’s review regarding the property’s bedroom being “often dark”. In fact, due to expressions from past guests that the bedroom allowed in too much light, black-out roller shades were installed several years ago. Fully closed, these do indeed block out natural light allowing guests to sleep in late and/or take afternoon naps. However, with the blinds open, the room normally enjoys abundant natural light. Of course, the bedroom is equipped with multiple lamps providing very adequate lighting in the evenings or on overcast days. With respect to the size and comfort of the bed, it is 140 X 190 cm; slightly larger than an American “full” or “double” bed.
