Beautiful mid-terrace on a no-thru-road, with great transport links to Oxford, cosmopolitan Cowley and the River Thames. New rear extension with a fantastic 300sqft kitchen/lounge/diner. Separate sitting room with wood burner and guest day bed (single or super king when extended). Upstairs there are two double bedrooms (one with king size bed, the other with single bunks bed), a nursery with cot bed and bathroom with roll-top bath with shower over and a stacked washing machine and drier. There is a separate toilet downstairs. The garden is south facing and quiet, with kids play area and dining space. Parking is on the street, but no permit is required. The third (cot) bedroom can be converted to an office if you prefer.

Fantastic local amenities within walking distance, including beautiful parks (great for all ages, including tennis courts and lawn bowls), a wide range of restaurants, a retail park and a couple of well stocked supermarkets.

Within easy reach of Oxford town centre (busses every 10 minutes with a journey time of 15 minutes) as well as to Oxford Brookes and the John Radcliffe Hospital. Bikes may be available upon request.

I truly recommend this cute cottage.

Me and my family stayed for the academic year 2015/2016 in this very British house. Massive charm, massive garden, massive neighbours. When we lived in the house there was no extension, but still we loved it. Now with the extension the living room as well as the kitchen seem to be top notche. In other words, things have improved (from an already high level). Really: Everything being massive. We could not have asked for more.

As for shopping there's a Sainsbury's around the corner and also a T-Max for cheap quality clothing. For kids Florence Park is a 5-minute walk away.

Our landlord Adam was very helpful in looking up schools for us, arranging bikes for us (Oxford is for bikes!), introducing us to the neighbours, etc. We became friends!

We could not have asked for more. It was the best year ever and that's thanks to the house, the neighbours, Florence Park and well... yes Oxford University too.
