Left Bank between the Luxembourg garden and the cafés/cinemas of Montparnasse : sunny and calm.

On the street where the last scene of Godard's iconic movie "À bout de souffle" (Breathless) was shot and where Patti Smith resided during her first Paris trip in 1969, on the sunny top floor - with lift - of a typically Parisian building: a bedroom with a [European] King-size bed 160x200 cm (which can be separated into two single beds 80x200 cm), a modern bathroom (shower + wash-basin, separate toilet), and a wooden-floor living-room with open kitchen + view on a calm inner courtyard full of trees (see photo).
RER "Port Royal" (direct to Eurostar train and to Charles-de-Gaulle airport, but also to Massy-Palaiseau for Polytechnique and CEA in Saclay), metro stations "Vavin" and "Raspail", direct buses to the Louvre, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Bastille opera... The Luxembourg garden is just minutes away for a quiet stroll, or your morning jogging, or a pleasant walk towards the Sorbonne. The famous nearby cafés (La Coupole, Le Dôme, La Rotonde, Le Sélect...) are open 7 days a week, and the outdoor market of Edgar Quinet is active twice a week. Language school "Alliance Française" is a short walk along Boulevard Raspail. Galeries Lafayette, Monoprix, numerous crêperies, restaurants, cinemas and bookstores are all in the immediate neighbourhood.

About Me
Born and raised in Montreal Canada, I've been living in central Paris for many years but have also travelled extensively around the world and speak fluently three languages. I'm a graduate of McGill University in Montreal and of "Sciences Po" in Paris. I work for a well-known literary publishing house in central Paris. The calm and sunny apartment I offer is located in the wonderful area of Montparnasse on the Left Bank, close to the Luxembourg gardens, with a great view on a courtyard full of trees (see photo). I live in the same building and will be happy to give you helpful tips on this wonderful and historic neighbourhood if you're interested.

Anne's apartment is extremely well located (there are restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, frozen food stores, cinemas, subway stations, bus stops and the beautiful Luxembourg Garden nearby), spacious by Parisian standards, well lit and well ventilated. I have been living here with my wife for about 5 months and we are very pleased. The space is good for two people. The kitchen is also well equipped, and the former tenant left a very practical electric oven. The room has sheets, blankets, pillows, etc. The bathroom is good and the shower, gas and heating of the apartment work perfectly. In short, we have everything we need to live comfortably. Anne is very correct and easy to communicate with. We strongly recommend the place!

I've been living for several months in Anne's apartment and I couldn't be happier. The situation of the flat is perfect, in a quiet area but at the same time very close to the center and with good communications. Anne was very attentive at all times and she is a very nice person to interact with. Excellent Luis 5/11/2017 3:18:00 PM
