Sunny Apartment near Luxembourg Gardens. Perfect for an academic couple.

Feel at home in our bright, comfortable and typical Parisian apartment, only a few steps from the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens and overlooking a charming little square.

Perfectly located for public transport, we are on Metro lines 4 and 12, several bus routes and direct links to both Paris airports (RER) and all main train stations. Within walking distance of Sciences Po, the Alliance Française, Reid Hall, ISEP and Stanford in Paris. The Sorbonne is a pleasant stroll away across the Luxembourg Gardens.

The apartment is sunny and well laid out. Located on the fourth and last floor. There is no elevator but the staircase is wide and easy and once you open the front door you will see that the climb was worth it. Views from the front over a quiet square and the iconic Sauvage building. From the rear the flat looks over a leafy courtyard and former artist's studio.

To the front, a spacious double living room/dining room comfortably furnished with family furniture, and a study, with double sofa bed available to accommodate your guests. On the garden side, a quiet double bedroom and bathroom with full sized tub with shower over. Well equipped kitchen with breakfast corner.

The flat is quiet and all windows are double glazed. The building is secure, with Digi code and entry phone. The area is extremely safe.

Close to the lively Boulevard Montparnasse with its famous literary cafés and numerous cinemas. You will find neighbourhood food stores, restaurants, bookstores, fashion and gelato all in our street and there are twice weekly food markets and an organic market a few streets away.

We have lived in this apartment and loved it for over thirty years and if our description appeals you won't be disappointed.

About Me
I am a graduate of Bristol University UK, (Modern Languages) and have lived in Paris since 1973 where I trained in Dance and Theatre (Ecole Jacques Lecoq). Since 1985 I have worked as a Tour Manager/Lecturer with American clients on Educational Tours throughout Europe (ACIS, Road Scholar etc). I also accompany orchestra and choral ensembles on their European tours. I speak English, French, Italian and German, my husband is Swiss. Together we founded Walksweeks, providing tailor made hiking holidays based in our farmhouse in the Ardèche. The apartment in Paris has been my home for 30 years and reflects my interest in literature, music and the arts in general.
